Hi laura, do you mean like graphics or text? I'm pretty sure you can though I haven't done it. I will try it and let you know once I get to my computer! Cheers!
Yes, confirmed. You can apply the same Generate Circle effect to Graphics and it works the same way as for a picture or a video. Let me know if you have any other questions! Please consider subscribing if you haven't yet to support my small RU-vid channel! I will have more Adobe Premiere tutorial videos coming soon! 👍
how would you scale the video within the circle to be bigger? Like I've made my circle around me in the corner, but there's one clip where I want to zoom into my face for emphasis without changing the size of the circle. How would I do this? Thank you for a great tutorial!
Hi Leslie, thanks for your feedback. Good question, it is actually quite simple. It is called Animation, just go to the effect control to the motion section, besides Position and Scale click on the clock icon to put animation keys and then go to the point on the timeline where you want to make an image bigger and change scale, this will put another animation key. The distance between the keys will determine the speed at which it will enlarge the image. That's it. Of course it might sound confusing but it is very simple. Actually, it'll put it on my list to make a short video tutorial about it. Thanks for the idea! Hope this helps!
Hello, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "uses gpu I see yours don't show that icon" If you're talking about a GPU utilization on your computer after applying a circle effect in Adobe Premiere, then yes a Circle Effect does consume quite a bit of resources. Even on my machine with 6 cores/12 threads, it struggles to work smoothly. I recommend applying this effect at the end of your project to avoid slowing your overall performance as it does require a lot of resources. Cheers and thanks for subscribing if you did! 👍
I have a little problem with the second method, when I put the circle effect it does nothing I can't see the result, please help, sorry for my English 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hi Dragon warrior, after you have applied a circle effect, make sure to change Blending mode in Effect Control to Stencil Alpha, then increase Radius to the desired size. Hope this will help! Let me know! 👍
Hi Kant, you should make either an image larger or make a circle smaller because you're hitting the boundaries of the image that are usually flat. Let me know how it goes!
