I'm so glad you had her walk towards you and you framed her between those windows, in the floral pants. That's something a lot of amateurs don't do, they always put people right up against a wall instead of having them walk towards your camera and AWAY from the wall, they also shoot from a high angle and shoot down on people and it makes them look short and dumpy. I'm lucky I have my Dad who's been a professional photographer for almost 6 decades to give me tips about how to shoot portraits. Like if you are shooting downtown and you want a vintage street clock that is on a post in the portrait, you have the subject walk forward to your camera, not stand literally right next to the clock. I did that last night for a senior portrait. Also Dad was holding the flash off camera for me but he told me that I can put the flash on a rolling light stand and drag it around with me when I shoot them on my own. He's so good at balancing out the flash so it's not overdone. Keep up the great work Jessica!
I love your video, you are like so happy all the time as if you were like wow everything is amazing to your eyes and that is something that 99.9999 percent of humanity needs right now.
I love it, every video of yours is so inspiring, since I stared watching your RU-vid clips I move from thinking I am not good enough, to I can really do this :)
@@JessicaWhitaker Also, finally joined the B&B Facebook group last week and my life is already changed. It is so so incredible, and such a positive, thoughtful, and helpful community!!
Watching the video from time to time I wanted to press the like button again and realised that I already did! Why can’t I like it multiple times?❤️❤️❤️
I've been searching for the photoshoot with chapstick for a while cause it's so fairy and beautiful it graps my attention so beautiful keep going. I'm from Egypt by the way 💞💞💞
I feel like as a 28 year old guy who lives in Arkansas, I am probably not your target audience, but I love watching your videos! I feel like you'd be fun to hang with! Thanks for the ideas!
Another amazing video!!!! I really liked the tips and I always like the companies you work with that sponsor the videos. SKillshare is amazing! Honeybook and Savage Universal are two companies that i discovered thanks to you and I use them now so I'm always interested to watch the intro! You know how to hold the audience's attention for sure :)
You might wanna look into the Sony A9 as well, it just dropped 1k in price & is an amazing camera.... in truth, most FF cameras made today are great & you really can’t go wrong with what you choose. The only one I would stay away from right now is the Lumix S1 & S1R for two reasons, lens selection & their auto focus isn’t quite there yet... good luck on what ever you purchase!
it's not 3 minutes of a commercial. it's an artsy intro to show what i am going to be photographing, me giving credit to the model (??? super important), sharing about the sponsor who made the rest of this 10 minute TUTORIAL possible. but ok lol
@@JessicaWhitaker Hey Jessica, I'm not judging you: heaven knows, I like some of that juice too sometimes. It's just daaamn annoying to watch you like this - I couldn't get through the video.
