Compilation of 2 previous videos
1.) FORCED from the Smoky Mountains by FERAL PEOPLE!
FERAL PEOPLE terrified a young couple while they tried to spend the night in their truck down a rough back road in the Smoky Mountains. Nearly surrounded, and left with little options, Travis was forced to back down the narrow, rough trail, only to find out their pursuers tried to track them in the mountains!
2.) TERRORIZED by FERAL PEOPLE in the Smoky Mountains!
FERAL PEOPLE followed and terrorized brothers Brady and Jay while they hiked the Smoky Mountains portion of the Appalachian Trail. This encounter is proof of why it is always best to go into the woods in pairs or groups and is chilling nightmare experience Brady and Jay faced on what was supposed to be a stress-free backpacking trip.

If you do not think the Appalachian mountains are wilderness, just remember an entire branch of the Cherokee nation hid there for the better part of a century without being found.

@@camelnut7014 The Eastern Cherokee Tribe is not hiding anymore and hasn't for well over a hundred years. To avoid the "Trail Of Tears" removal by the psychopath Andrew Jackson's forced removal, they hid in the deepest parts of the Smoky Mts. By the time they were "found" in the late 19th century, the risk of being removed had passed. You can visit them now. Are some of their members feral? IDK

A couple decades ago, I was a case manager for schizophrenics. One of my clients told me about his childhood of abuse. His father was a violent alcoholic. So, when his father came home at night, he and his brothers would run out to the Forrest to hide… they would spend the whole night outside, even in the cold and rain. They often went days without food, did not go to school, and felt more comfortable in the wild than around people. They were often ill-clothed, or walked around naked. He was discovered at the age of 15, and placed into foster care. He had minimal reading skills, and was eventually allowed to live in his own apartment. He didn’t bathe, or manage garbage… and, only had a television and a reclining chair, that he slept in. His mind could not reconcile reality, and he didn’t know what happened to his brothers or parents.

As if being labelled a schizophrenic wasn't enough. Stories like these lead me to believe death is a lot better than being a man. What a cursed existence. I doubt he ever received enough compassion compared to unbridled disgust and contempt.

Over 15 years ago in Alabama, I asked my grandmother who grew up in Double Springs out where Corridor X is/was, about bigfoot. She said she had never heard or seen anything like that, but she did tell me about the feral people. So, if she heard about them as a child, they must have been out there for centuries, who are they? My grandmother said they were War deserters, escaped criminals, NA that escaped the Trail of Tears, runaway slaves, those that couldn't find a job during the Depression, and abandoned children (Down's syndrome or autistic children) over the centuries. They all fled for various reasons into the Appalachian Mountains or were left there. It boggles the mind.

Great video man. Your format and style of narration is very refreshing compared to other channels that cover these types of stories. I've lived in Appalachia my whole life and it's no joke. Even in populated areas close to main roads you're liable to run into some wild unexplainable stuff. Going way out into the woods off the beaten path without being armed is an absolute no-no.

I grew up in a hollow in Madison, NC. When I say hollow, I mean we had to walk to get our mail to the rural route road that was about a mile away. Even having grown up there, my mamaw always told me to keep away from the "woods or mountain folk."" It was a stern warning that I heeded.

@darkwilderness2392
@darkwilderness2392 4 месяца назад
@@justanamerican9024 I thought the same thing when I first read the email. I LOVE zombies! Years ago when I was obsessed with walking dead I did a zombie story in a “blog” format. I eventually strayed away from it because it was super time consuming trying to keep up with it. My wife told me I should do a “narration” channel for that story, but I think that would be bitting off way more than I could chew. When I film for DarkWilderness, by the time I’m done editing and such it’s usually like 3-4AM because I can only do it when the kids are sleeping or if I use a vacation day from my day job to do it (which is what I did the last 2 Fridays…. Gotta stop that or I’ll burn through em all only got 3 1/2 weeks left now). We’ll see though, maybe someday….
@justanamerican9024
@justanamerican9024 4 месяца назад
@@darkwilderness2392 You are a fine story teller. You keep on track, that is a challenge not all story tellers can overcome. I could not get my head around the Zombie crazy until recently. Now, when I see so many people following really questionable leaders and believing ridiculous conspiracy theories I suddenly got it. We are watching a "Zombie" takeover in real life! We take for granted that people will reason things out all the time, but the fact is, if they get isolated, whether intellectually or physically, they can take on antisocial attributes. I could see people who have been traumatized or abandoned at a young age or mentally ill (or a combination of the above) could become feral. Thank you for your efforts, I am a writer and know how hard it is to do everything life demands and still find time to peruse your art. Keep up the good work, your readers/viewers appreciate it!

As more and more people become homeless, the numbers of deep woods denizens will increase dramatically. And- the deeper in the woods they go, the more degenerate and dangerous they invariably become. Bottom line- Always carry a means of self defense when venturing beyond the periphery of known wilderness areas & established public "safe zones". Preferably a big caliber semi-auto rifle that has a large capacity magazine, as well as a sidearm. I refuse to "walk in fear" when out in the wilds of nature... & when armed thusly, I exude not fear, but a high level of confidence. Which can & WILL repel threats lurking in the shadows, as- they are predators & predators can easily read your state of mind by picking up on your field of energetic influence, AND by your body language as it speaks volumes about you. It reveals your confidence and/or aggression level, your degree of awareness, mental/emotional state AND your physical fitness level. Yes, to those who live in the woods 24/7, such ability to read a persons threat level is instant & automatic, they just KNOW whether or not you are a target worth pursuing- or someone that is best avoided altogether. So yes, being armed can reduce or altogether eliminate having encounters with deep woods threats... and if push comes to shove & you find yourself in a confrontation with deranged man/men or hungry/angry beasts-- you can quickly take care of business in no uncertain terms. No, I dont venture out into the woods looking for a confrontation & "eager to kill"- but I WILL dispatch without hesitation or remorse, ANYTHING out in the woods that shows eagerness to kill & eat me!

I, too, carry a bear banger. It's made by Winchester, and it has staggered "bangers" of fragmenting slugs and 00 buckshot. There's no way I'll ever camp or go hiking in a national park without my firearm. Recently, I have purchased 12 gauge trip alarms and fashioned makeshift barrels. I plan on putting cayenne pepper loads, and stinger(tiny rubber pellets) loads in them so if something gets to our group without 4-6 of us all armed, ranging from 7.62, 5.56, 12 gauge,. 45, .9mm and those trip alarms, we just had it coming

There are people that dropped out entirely & completely from the system and this current version of what passes for society everywhere. I remember being told of groups of wild men that dropped out to live in the rainforests up north. They were supposedly made up of a majority of Vietnam Vets completely traumatised from how they were used to maim and kill for the government only to have directly copped the disgust and anger by 100,000 people on their return to country. This is what supposedly made them snap. Last one i heard about was a disturbing encouter a woman had about 20 years ago. Pretty quiet since. Anyway, interesting content and greetings from Australia

Appalachian here. I take these claims seriously, though I don’t have enough to say it’s real or not. We have had feral populations before that were exterminated by the government. There was some degree of backlash that they were taking out humans. But there are sections of the park that were completely inaccessible even to rangers. That doesn’t mean that someone who’s entire life is deep woods Appalachia couldn’t access it. Your average housebroken Appalachian does better on advanced trails than people who’ve never been to the mountains. Humans adapt. ATVs and SUVs can’t. We also have people go pretty deep out there to make meth, or run from the law, or because they don’t want anything to do with society. They can be out there for a long time. What happens to people when they experience isolation? They go very deep into survival mode, and lose social skills. We still had modern comforts and could communicate with quarantine but people are struggling socially even now after 3 years of it being back to normal. There is no guarantee that a small group of already likely unstable people went out there years ago for some shady reason, and made babies who’ve never been in society. There is no guarantee they got every single feral person when the government was hunting them. Odds are they would be much like the more elusive animals out here due to small numbers and the intellectual capacity to dodge being seen. They would be unlikely to spot. But we don’t question when someone sees a mountain cougar because it is known to exist. We don’t question when teenagers find moonshining or meth setups because that does, occasionally happen. Whether they are generationally feral or not, the odds of encountering someone who is more animal than human out there isn’t zero. So it’s best to treat dirty, animalistic, wild eyed people as if they are feral and get yourself away from them, asap. Handle people who look like they may be feral as you would bears, cougars, etc. It could just be some druggie who’s high out of their mind but even then, you are best served by getting away from them!
