In case you push back too far, just let these two engines run at full bore until it starts to move. At some point you should have burned off enough fuel to get moving, right? Would even help you with your takeoff, wouldn't it?

Speed brakes were probably the main reason why you didn’t fly. They are meant to slow the plane down and prevent airflow.

I’ve seen this in a few comments. I’ll need to explain the reasoning in a different video. If I didn’t have the speed brakes, the window for successful flight (between being too slow and falling so fast it tears off the wings when trying to pull back on the stick) would have been incredible small (literally a less than a second). The speed brake extended than envelope to around 2.5 seconds. Thanks for the comment as you clearly understand aerodynamics. I just didn’t do a good job explaining. Thanks for watchin!

Why would you ever have speed brakes on? You know that speed brakes spoil lift right? They dont just create drag. Also trim for a pitch up condition to offset your nose heavy CG. It will move the entire horizontal stabilizer not just the elevators.

Complete novice here, so this might be a stupid question. Why would you want to activate a break while taking off? Wouldn't you want as fast as a speed as possible on take off? My only experience with plane flying is in war thunder so I am not experienced lol

I'm on mobile so I can't copy his comment, but he says if you go too fast, you can rip off the wings by pulling up too late as you take off. Braking during his advance makes take off a bit more forgiving, for lack of a better way to put it.
