I found when changing oil on hybrids I press the gas pedal and it fires the engine. Honda may be different but that’s worked for me on hybrids 😅

Modern Honda hybrids need to be put in a service mode post oil change where a person holds gas and brake in park for 5-10 seconds it will fire up the engine but the ones that have a serpent/Drive belt can turn on the ac will use the engine to drive the ac compressor
