Called a split bolt clamp. Who'd have thought? These are easily cross-threaded and can snap on the thread so use with caution.

Can you just drill a hole in the bolt, thread the wire through and tighten a nut to secure the wire ?

with second method I have maded a clamp for a hydraulic pump, over 120bar (1800psi) and is very good.

I would have used a molly Hogan loop on the first one. Could have been done 30 minutes ago

My partner grabbed a perimeter 3/8" wire cable walking a steel beam about 18' up. The investigation blamed a faulty wire rope clip/cable clamp. When he fell to ground a pc of rebar penetrated his upper body pinning him to it; One end was sticking through his back and he told me to tell his wife and kids...blah blah he died in front of me almost 15 minutes later. THEN the medics arrived.
