I wish the women knew that the head covering shows freedom...God gave us men to protect us, the covering of the hair is to show we are protected and covered. Yes also strings or vocal layering is used in the background, to keep pitch since there are many dissonances used in Arabic scales, and it makes the sound more full. Also when you come together you would have an acapella group or a choir → this is how solo singers mimic the acapella/choir effect

There are many Arabic scales, depending on the country the dissonances can differ in sounds how the flats or sharps are played. There are many Arabic scales, and depending on the scale they have a name and feeling. She's basically singing scale, I don't have my scales down like that so I am sorry I can't tell you the name but you can look up Arabic scales and you'll find many beautiful sounds like this 😊
