you probably dont give a damn but does any of you know a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my login password. I love any help you can offer me
Thank you. This is the only way I can stay focused and get work done living in a household, temporarily, with two people who refuse to get hearing aids and are constantly screaming at the top of their lungs.
+maxg14 It sent me down a path of a lifelong interest and appreciation for this sort of sound, lots of which I put up on my own RU-vid page. Producing ambient sound such as this has turned into a huge hobby of mine and as far as I recall this video was my first introduction to one of this sort. Bravo for your great video :D!
I discovered this youtube video about 6 months ago with 1 semester left in my college career. Some hippies were playing music outside while I was trying to finish a paper. This video has saved many hippies lives and boosted my GPA greatly from playing it while I work. And for this, myself and I am sure the hippies thank you.
Ok you have no idea how happy I am right now! I´ve had trouble sleeping for the past 6 years because of PTSD. This somehow smooths me out and I don´t get nightmares anymore. Well not at least the past week or so. I really appreciate it!
This is the very video that got me into white noise. Before youtube you couldnt just type in "white noise" and listen away. Thanks to the creator of this
I have been diagnosed with hypersensitive hearing in an abnormal range of frequencies as well as Hyperacusis, and trust me, there is a difference between brown noise and "TV static." The difference for me is between excruciating pain and relaxation. Despite the comment squabble, I'd like to thank you for this loop. Some people may not hear it, but the baritone and bass tones in this edit are especially rich, and the static blending is the highest quality I can find. Take my word. Very nice work.
thank you i have adhd and i love reading, but whenever i try to read i drift off and start thinking about everything but the words in the book, this helps me soo much
I wake up half baked with headphones and the cord wrapped all around my face wen i get stoned and listen too this really chills me the F out. Great stuff
I've fallen asleep to this since 2013. Across multiple iPods, Samsungs, iPhones, MacBooks, bluetooth speakers, headphones, AirPods, beds, airplanes, couches, backseats, hotels, countries. Thanks for this.
Honestly, thanks so much for putting this up. I've used it multiple times over the course of the past year to do homework and other important stuffs in noisy rooms to help me concentrate.
Thank you for uploading the altered noise...I'm loving it....it clears the clutter in my mind and puts me to sleep, relax.......amazing ! Thanks again, violina
Yes definitely a ferry..just as you open the door and you can hear the low hum of the diesel engines combined with the sound of the sea.. Great memories with ferry travelling Getting misty eyed for Ireland :)
it's the sound of life and the universe in motion, it is the sound of both beginning and ending, it is the passage of time, the movement of space, and the song of reality. this shit is really calming
This reminds me of when I stayed at a hotel when my dad went on conferences for his work, maybe the nose from the fan or something? Either way, this is greatly relaxing and I thank you for posting it =)
Its womb sounds.. That's why we all like it. When my son was a baby and wouldn't settle or sleep, I put on the radio tuned to static...sounded just like this. It was instant, he just shut up, listened.... and started snoring!
This is probably the greatest ambient noise video on youtube. I'm in the computer lab though, and it has an irresistible sedative effect on me for some reason...like really it is hard to sit up straight
I have to have my fan on to fall asleep at night. It's extremely calming and relaxing; not to mention it blocks out the sounds of my neighbors dog barking.
If there was anything to do during the work hours while you worked, listening to that sweet sound on your iPod would truly set the tone... and I'm not just saying that.
this is a savior..our fan broke nd we 2 poor 2 get a new one so we play this all night..i restart it every 2 hours..no joke..how sad is that...lol..thx man
This is great! I use this noise to sleep whenever there is noise around the house. Apparently, not only does it make me sleep, but it's also great in covering other noises, even at low volumes.
I'm on vacation with my brother and cousins and they are playing beer pong at 2am still...while I'd love to continue drinking with them, I need sleep some time today and this is totally helping. thanks :)
Not sure what all of the hateful comments are about. This video is friggin'' awesome. 2 hours of one of the purest forms of brown noise i've come across on youtube. Love it, man. Thanks a ton.
@WTF1920 Calm, fan-like, sounds are usually the best for relaxation. Not a person out there couldn't be relaxed by the sound of a calm running fan. Having no rise in pitch, volume, or drop. Just a steady, calm, breeze sound. I find it very relaxing, i fell asleep to this yesterday.
weird, i m not the only one that likes this!! i remember that those sounds were making me fall asleep since i was a kid, like the hair dryer etc, i cant explain the phenomenon, maybe it has to do with tinnitus!
this is the only thing thats ever helped me sleep at night and, it may be just a coincidence, ive never remembered a single dream but after falling asleep to this i remembered 2 :D
white noise= hard rain falling, pink noise= leaves in the wind, brown noise= distant rushing water. At least that's what I imagine listening to each of em lol
the reason why this is so theraputic is because in your mothers womb this was prettymuch all you heard for 6-7 months, before you could pick up other sounds more clearly. this psychologically gives you a sence of security and peace. you can get this sound from a white noise machine, and just sit and relax to it, you may fall asleep.
Wow, wasn't sure what to expect at first... you're right this is pretty nice, just the right kind of background noise that sinks into the edge of your awareness and doesn't distract you from anything else. Gonna have to try this sometime I work much better with something going on in the background, an AC unit or wind or whatever. Pure quiet just makes me annoyed and apprehensive.
Don't listen to these guys, man. I go to this video at least 3 times a week to do school work. I have 8 people living in my house, one is a mediocre singer, another practices the flute all the time, another is a crybaby, and one yells too much. I thank you for uploading this video.
this thing put both, my wife and my son to sleep, but i'm still struggling, 1hour 10mins to go, i mean, this has to be the cure for something, very nice
this sound is as close to the sound that babies hear in the womb, many people experience this sense of well-being in adulthood, these sounds, such as a hair dryer, a fan, an air conditioner, vacuum cleaner, etc. are called white noise
1080p actually does give better audio quality due to youtube's audio encoding or compression of the file. Basically as you increase the resolution of the video the sound file that youtube is playing to you changes. It switched to a higher quality version of the audio file. You can look it up if you don't believe me.
