I do not know what kind of education you have or what kind of school you've been to. But I'm going to do my good deed for today. I have been doing my research. I have found out a lot. It doesn't matter if a person has diabetes or not. There are many many people walking around and they don't even know that they have a dangerous blood sugar level. This individual is doing a disservice to society. There are certain commenters on here that are warning others. They are speaking out and that's a good thing. To promote something like this puts a person in a particular category. They are either ignorant,WICKED or EVIL. If I was a evil person I would serve this to my enemies. The sugar content in it is very high. One slice of it are a piece of it will do things to you to make you want another and another. That's the way this substance works. The only way that I'll know if you appreciate what I'm trying to do for you and for others is if you respond to it. I did thumbs up your comment. I did so because I read another comment that made a lot of sense. Angel food cake is supposed to be very very high. But the look of this one is nothing compared to the danger contained within. Hopefully you are a good person and you wouldn't try to hurt others with all this sugar. Sugar really is the devil. I have multiple books on this. Also, big companies put plenty of sugar in their products to keep consumers buying it again and again. So what do you have to say?
Put the cake mix in first and pour the limeade in a bit at a time, and you'll save yourself 10 minutes of trying to stir dust into a lake that wants to overflow.
If you do it this way, just be sure to scrap the bottom and edges. So many times I've seen someone add dry mixes first before liquid, and it isn't fully mixed. That's why we always suggest to use liquid first. If anything, just do a little of both at a time.
Use Lemonade vs limeade, and white cake mix vs anglefood. After it cools, use a fork to puncture the cake all over. Then take lemon jello and using onlyhot water,, create a thick glaze and spread it over the cake, allowing it to seep into the fork holes. When that hardens, cut into pieces. My mom made this when we were growing up.
@@IVvOOvVIWe did the same thing. Sometimes made this using the Orange juice concentrate other times using Lemon concentrate. Neither was soggy- the texture is kinda similar to a sponge cake. Baked it same as in the video. Don’t remember any zest being put on ours, but would sometimes add a little drizzle (while cake was still warm) of whichever flavor was made.
I have made a similiar cake for years. IN A BOWL add an Angel Food cake mix and a can of lemon pie filling. Mix. Then add 1 cup of sweetened coconut and mix again. Pour into an UNGREASED 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 min. Let cool for about 30 min. Sift powdered sugar on top.Cut into 15, 20, or 24 pieces depending on how many guests you are serving and if it is an after dinner dessert or a party with no other food being served. They are more like bars than a cake. Enjoy!!😅

This sounds good although the addition of fruit no matter how well drained it is will add weight and extra moisture as well. Remember Angel Food Cakes are a light spongy cake
I do the same thing except I use a can of crushed pineapples with the cake mix. So dang delicious!!! And sometimes I add a brown sugar and butter mix for the top to soak down in
Honestly, I have never seen the recipe anywhere; I got it from a friend and we love it with the pineapple. I also mix the cake mix and lemon pie filling, then cut it into bars.
You read my mind! I made it today, and after poking holes. I added a LITE drizzle of Coconut Cream. You can always add more, if you like. You juat can't take it away, ua know? I refrigerated it to firm up some. OMG OMG OMG #EPIC Hot day out, and it was tropical, refreshing, and amazing! 😋
The perfect dump cake and it will cook all the way through. I hate dump cake that butter without mixing they never cook fully. This a great idea how about lemonade concentrate with a strawberry angel food cake.

The Betty Crocker Angel Food cake has 276 grams of sugar in the entire box. The Fat Free Reddiwip has less than 1 gram of sugar per 2 tablespoons. Let’s be generous and say she had two servings of that (4 tbsp) and say each serving has 1 gram of sugar. I’m now estimating and saying that she had about 1/15 of that cake, so the portion on her plate is 32.67 grams of sugar. A can of coke has 39 grams. A Starbucks blueberry muffin has 29 grams. I’m not saying that cake is healthy for you. But it is cake. Again, what do you expect? Eating a slice every once in a while is absolutely fine for normal, healthy individuals.

I'll try this variation. The one i usually make is angelfood cake mixed with a 20oz can of crushed pineapple. That one is very yummy as well. Thanks for the recipe.
Angel food cake mix already has the eggs and oil in , can also use just water and another flavor cake mix . Great for mug cakes that can be cooked in the microwave......love your idea too and will be trying it .. just subscribed 😊

This is not one of them. Too many people are walking around with blood sugar problems. They don't even know it. I have seen it with my own eyes where parents are giving their children desserts and snacks full of sugar. All they do is scream and yell. They are very hyper. Some parents are smarter and they don't do this. I myself don't have to deal with any of that. No one eats just 1 piece of cake. Most people don't have that kind of discipline. Sugar is dangerous and yes I've heard it said that SUGAR is the DEVIL and that is true. If you want to know how to destroy a nation then get them through their food. This does look really good!! Lime Angel food cake! Perfect for the start of summer weather. I know you are not supposed to have any amount of oil anywhere near an Angel food cake, so not greasing the pan makes sense.
You know I thought that, for ONE SECOND. When I read your comment, I went back to see and it's DEFINITELY not done. I really think with ANGEL Food Cake, it's ONLY water you can mix it with. Nothing else. Because it's the texture of the mix that won't unite with anything else because it's a very HIGH RISE CAKE. You can see it didn't rise here. (I've made it before. The box ones) Other boxed cakes are different. You can substitute the water and it will come out fine. I also think that concentrated juice, is a no, no. You're supposed to add a bunch of water to make the juice. And it's STILL SWEET! IMAGINE HOW SWEET CAKES COME OUT WITH JUST THE CONCENTRATE ALONE! 😳. Not even for the other boxed cake, now that I've realized this! OMG!

It is done ladies. Angel food cake has a bit of a unique texture. Especially if it was still warm when she scooped it, which she obviously did do, it is likely to look under baked. But it isnt.

Just made this...comes out like meringue pudding & its very tart. Maybe needs some chocolate chips with the cool whip to cut the tartness. Wouldn't serve this to guests but if its just family, its ok. Quick & easy for the summer. Kind of key lime pie vibe. Kids might like it because it's like sour candy.

Idk about the recipe but a lot of ppl have speech impediments and she is clearly speaking very well so plz give her a break on the one or two words that came out a bit wonky. When you are stressed, or working, tired it makes it more difficult to control it I should know.

What is better is not to use concentrate - which just adds corn syrup - but use some lemon juice or lime juice (from the baking aisle) instead of all the water. Or even swap some squeezed orange juice (from real oranges, not the drinking kind) for some of the water. This recipe in the video is overly sweet a d overly processed for no reason. Using some lemon juice is just as easy and will create a much better product.
