I think I'll try this, but use coconut extract and then add toasted coconut to the mixture before freezing. The flavor possibilities are endless!!

My granddaughters and I tried it. It was a amazing. The youngest added Twixs candy bar. And the oldest added pistachio pudding to hers. Ingenious!! Gammy, that's me, added pineapples and coconut. They were all delicious. I'm going to make some more adding peaches and mango. 🤫

I can believe it's been 6 years since this video...I remember watching it when I was 7 years old, this guy was such a big part of my old memories. ;)

I'm recovering from the coronavirus and decided to make this...thank you. I added the cold ice cream to a jam and scone. It was so good and just what I needed. I've now also added it to hot coffee and then let it cool and made really good iced coffee....again, thank you.

My family loves this recipe, my daughter has so much fun helping, and it's so easy to put a spin on. We've made chocolate marshmallow (chocolate syrup into the cream before whipping, marshmallows when folding), chocolate oreo (same, but with smashed oreos), birthday cake (cake mix before whipping, sprinkles when folding), and strawberry (strawberry syrup, chopped frozen strawberries) and we've loved every result. Thanks again!

OMG! I made this just today! And it was awesome! I couldn't find "pouring cream" and realized it's also called "heavy whipping cream" in the United States. It took about 15 minutes to beat that thing! But it turned out awesome! Great recipe thanks! You rock!

I stumbled upon this video while looking for something SWEET to make for my two grandchildren. Last time it was rice pudding; the time before it was bread pudding. Both were BIG hits! This recipe/video is just amazing! The creamy-ness (is that even a word?) is incredible ... just a gorgeous richness and feel in the mouth. Butterfat through the roof (which is what makes a premium ice cream ... premium), and an absolutely marvelous texture from the eggbeaters. The texture is - pardon my vocabulary, but it's the best foodie word I know - unctious, rich, rich, rich. It takes a helping or two before you realize just how satisfying great, high butterfat (the condensed milk?) content is. Soothing, soothing, soothing ... I'm going to try two variations: use coconut milk & fat with vanilla, almond and maybe a touch of mint extract/s (a tip of the cap to "coffee with two sugars please" comment below) for my kids who are lactose-sensitive. AND, I'm going to make the full cream/condensed milk version with (drum-roll please) ... egg yolks! This is called French-style ice cream. I used eggs in the aforementioned rice pudding ... yes ... very well received, indeed. Egg yolks? ... you could platz (a New York phrase for "you could drop dead it's so good")! I will report on how it turns-out; I won't take 6 years to, either.

I did this a few years ago and add some chocolate syrup to it .taste just like chocolate ice cream.

My mom says she no longer wants store bought ice cream and she want s me to make it lol! and in case i forget the recipe, i'll like this video!

Tried this with heavy cream (don't know the difference between the two honestly), and it was so good! It was much sweeter and more flavorful than I had anticipated. For me, it didn't think it needed any more flavoring beyond the condensed milk, haha.

I've been experimenting with different variations of homemade ice cream for many years. I started out using heavy cream,condensed milk and vanilla. I've added or substituted almond milk, cream cheese,yogurt, coconut milk, etc I've tried several different kinds of fruits, was pleasantly surprised with the banana ice cream I added a little of rum & vanilla extract.last year my son called & asked me to make Ice cream for the job xmas party, I suggested that he make he showed up over my house the night before the party & made up a large container, he said every body loved it, he didn't even get to taste it.

I made this and I've got to say I'm so impressed ...well done .....and thanks for sharing because I was in the mood for ice cream and I don't have an ice cream maker

Great recipe you could fold in mint, chocolate chips, Oreos, Butterfingers, M&M's, mangos bananas blueberries strawberries pineapples, shredded coconut walnuts almonds, raisins dates vanilla beans, orange rinds, blackberries, pistachios, pecans whatever tickles your fancy I suppose.

You could make dulce de leche from sweetened condensed milk and make ice cream with that. It's just caramelized. That might be a good one to marble with vanilla ice cream.
