It's not harsh chemicals. It just means that the soap is a base or alkaline natured not acidic. Turmeric acts as a natural indicator. It turns red when exposed to bases. It's just chemical property of soap. Not harsh chemicals
@@ayeshashahzad7655 Hello! I have sensitive skin, so I purchased a few large bars of Oatmeal, Honey Goat Milk Soap. I’m going to melt as per the video and then add the turmeric. I’m unsure how much turmeric to add? I’ll probably add 4 tablespoons to each bar. I’m hoping and praying they will start to fade completely in time? I have very dark hyperpigmentation spots that are so visible on my pale skin. They make me feel very embarrassed and bring me down emotionally at times. I’m looking forwards to trying this starting this week. 😊
