There's an argument to be had that he's the most consistently accurate qb in the nfl. When pocket collapses, that's a different story. But this guy has pinpoint accuracy at all levels despite the narratives on social media
@@Quad_ZillaLMAO 🤣 Mahomes on pace too be the best ever. Rice is a cheater who used stickum. There's no comparison. Randy Moss is the greatest WR all time, soon too be JJ.
Love JJ but Randy will always be #1 for vikings fans who saw both. Moss had better hands, speed, hops while JJ is better route runner and is more mature and wise. Don't think we'll ever see an impact to league to extent Moss had in first year. While Kirk really struggles when pocket collapses, as a pure thrower, he's top 5. Evolution of the game helps JJs case but had Moss entered the league now as opposed to the 90s....... I don't even wanna speculate.
Highest ranked WR each year: 2011: Andre Johnson (#7) 2012: Calvin Johnson (#3) 2013: Calvin Johnson (#3) 2014: Calvin Johnson (#2) 2015: Calvin Johnson (#6) 2016: Antonio Brown (#4) 2017: Julio Jones (#3) 2018: Antonio Brown (#2) 2019: Antonio Brown (#7) 2020: Michael Thomas (#5) 2021: Davante Adams (#6) 2022: Cooper Kupp (#4) 2023: Justin Jefferson (#2) So highest ranked were 2014 Calvin, 2018 AB, 2023 JJ.
2020: 88 catches 1,400 receiving yards 15.9 ypc 7 touchdowns 2021: 108 catches 1,616 receiving yards 15.0 ypc 10 touchdowns 2022: 128 catches 1,809 receiving yards 14.1 ypc 8 touchdowns Offensive player of the year, nfl receiving and catches leader (2022) 3x pro bowler (pro bowler as a rookie) 2x second team all pro (2020-2021) 1x all pro (2022) as of right now he currently has 324 career catches, 4,825 receiving yards, and 25 touchdowns. This is only in three seasons… BEST WR IN THE WORLD!!!
He came to Brazili and i met him at a store, the guy so humble and down to eath , raiders fan but i love watching him , he is really diferent since day 1 at the league
@@vance836a lot of QBs can’t get to the next level lol. Look at Josh Allen 🤣. Hell Dan Marino, But Kirk do be getting disrespected most of the times. From this package alone you can tell he be throwing absolute Dimes. JJ ain’t get 1800 on bad throws. Prescott is more like Romo than anybody lol
This man one a reason why I managed to win my fantasy league got in position to somehow make it to playoffs as the sixth seed and went off to win it. Thank you JJ
That buffalo game was insane. The whole world knew who the Vikings needed to go to stay in and win that game and he still couldn’t be stopped. He lived up to what he said after that game of being one of the best.
I believe Jefferson will have the most prolific career for a Wr. Obviously Jerry's numbers are insane and gotta give love to t.o and Moss. But Jeffersons numbers and work ethic in the future is gonna be something special to see almost like marvins Harrisons career just insane years of 1,000 yard seasons and crazy stats.
He actually reminds me a lot of a young Rice. He isn't going to come near Rice's TD's numbers but catches and yards, if he stays healthy. His ability to get separation without using pure speed means he should be able to age well as a receiver.
@@christopherdunlap7028main thing really is health, and he doesn’t really have a track record of injuries so if that continues to stay clean he will be a top 5 WR of all time when it’s all said and done. He should more than likely be the fastest WR to 10k receiving yards as well. Just another season like last year and he’s almost at 7k career receiving in 4 seasons.
Jefferson is without a doubt one of the greatest wide receivers in vikings history, maybe NFL history, he's right there with moss and rice. And it's unbelievable to think he's only 24
Kirk is a top 5 pure thrower in terms of consistently placing the ball where it needs to be. He's just not mobile and struggles with pressure. Would be interesting to see him in a scenario with offensive line personnel of 49ers or eagles for 1 year.
@@coreystenson2010 It's interesting that people think that Kirk has a lack of mobility when he has similar rushing yards, first downs, and rushing touchdowns as other quarterbacks (like Carr) and has more rushing yards, first downs, and rushing touchdowns than Goff and Rodgers (last two seasons). Carr, Goff and Rodgers are all considered mobile quarterbacks.
@@coreystenson2010he's consistently one of the most hit qbs in the league. He doesn't struggle under pressure, he just as triple as much as oll other qbs near his level lmao
@@Paula-mv8im yeah kirk is a quite guy that will never throw his teammates under the bus but the interior oline is awful and the defense is a joke. If either unit would have been slightly below average last year, vikes would have been in the nfc championship game. Kirk and JJ are a crazy good combo. Wonder how JJ will fare when Kirk is gone
@@chrisparker5143I think this is the year Jamarr Chase goes nuts and leads the league at WR. Fully healthy with Burrow and I think they’re going to feast.
Ive watched football adamantly since I was 5yr's old. It's been 23 years since and I've only ever seen a handful of WR's as talented and electric as this dude. Id say Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown and maybe Desean Jackson or Chad Johnson a times in thier career. This kid just might be one of the best to ever play the position 🤷. And what's even crazier is J'marr Chase is equivalent and they both played on the same team in college 🤯.
@noahborlace7502 to he the best you gotta do it for years let's see if he keep it before people say "He's the best receiver in the league" Adams still holds that crown 👑 and honestly Hill is next in line
The WR position is better than it has ever been. These guys are more athletic than ever and putting swag in the game making players rethink what is possible at the WR position. Theres gonna be like 30 WR's on the top 100 in 5-10 years
Most receiving yards of any player in first 3 years! Also gotta remember that he didn't really play as much or in his natural role for the first 3-4 games of his career because the vikings had him primarily in the slot like in college. Something they would have figured out much sooner if there were preseason games that year (bc of covid) so you could basically add on another 250 yards at least!
Justin Jefferson is our era’s randy moss he’s gonna be that dude and when he gets a real Qb no diss to kirk bc kirk is great accuracy wise so it makes sense. But imagine if he was playing with mahomes or josh Allen or Joe burrow. He literally would score 20+ tuddys
Them LSU boys be naturally having that aura to them that makes them stars. Other sports too like even women’s bball Flau’jae and Reese. It’s a LSU thing.
After watching this, I’m convinced Kirk Cousins just throws it to him no matter what. He could be covered and still throws it. Double ain’t no trouble when you have JJ
I think he's generational & Kirk is going to feed him. He's 6'2 with nasty feet , he reminds me of Chad but more physical. I'm a Denver fan but I'm rooting for this kid! He's a show to watch
Crazy to think that despite the amazing year he had, he was non existent against only 4 teams all year. He struggled against Philly, Detroit, Dallas, and Green Bay. The other 13 games he went off.
He didn’t even struggle against Dallas, Kirk was pressured 60% of the game, as well as Darrisaw getting injured in the first series. Detroit and Green Bay had him doubled the whole game
