That forklift weights 35,000lbs the suv weights 5,000lbs. The fact the suv moved the forklift 20ft is crazy.

The fact that some of us don't understand how or why first responders sometimes seem inappropriately jolly or too casual is the reason WHY we are NOT ALL cut out to be first responders. If you don't get it, you don't belong in a field that involves seeing gruesome things every day. If they took every scene as the tragedy that it IS, then their career isn't going to last....going to be emotionally broken very quickly. Laughter is a valuable coping skill.

I live in FL and holding servers accountable has been In the law books for some time. I don't recall anybody being charge or convicted as a result of it. People buy drinks for others or travel to multiple venues. There are often more than one server involved w/ transactions, multiple bartenders, waitresses, etc. I guess a POS unit and charge card transactions could be cobbled together, but there is probably room for reasonable doubt. If would be interesting to see the court case to see if servers were prosecuted and if convicted.
@rollydoucet8909
@rollydoucet8909 Год назад
Some people can have a beer or two, and walk out of the bar in a perfectly sober manner, and drive at unsafe speeds and cause a collision. I've watched servers refuse to sell alcohol to people that seemed quite sober. I know a couple of servers who lost their jobs because they refused to sell drinks to someone that was obviously intoxicated, but had 'connections' either political or friends of the bar's owners. Finding fault with servers that sold alcohol to someone who later was involved in a collision is a complicated issue. It's a bit like the gun shop that sold a gun which was later used in a crime or a fatality.. There are a lot of circumstances between the sale and the offence.

Something to consider if you are planning a night on the town with friends. Either find a non-drinking friend to drive or hire a Uber driver for the night. Chances are we wouldn't be watching this video if they had. Sean Teare is so well spoken for this tragedy. He hits on all the bases. theresarodriguez3284 - Please read the response from PhoenixRisen63 above - who sounds like they know from personal experience. "Stress relief....laugh, or cry." The things First Responders are faced with every single day is a tremendous psychological burden. Way too many FRs choose alcohol as a coping mechanism - and that makes it worse. Walk a mile in their shoes, think about what they see every day - and I hope you'll understand it's NOT a sign of disrespect. It's the only way some of us know how to deal with the wreckage left behind by tragedies like this. Many people just can't handle this kind of stress, but without them, who would put out your house fire, or save your grandmother, or catch the punk that stole your car? Or just put a bandage on a kid's stubbed toe? Please find one of these people and tell them thanks, they need to hear that. I hope this explains why you see that side of first responders.
