There was a little button on my browser that said summarize this video. I clicked it and Chat GPT gave me a synopsis, which was HILARIOUS. Not that I'm doubting Mia's ability, but the summary told me Mia got 65 rope cllimbs! I watched the whole video just to see that shit. Regardless it was impressive watching her get 6 5 3.

@@CTPCAM Workout Overview: The workout involves a 2-minute AMRAP (as many reps as possible) with a 2-minute rest between sets. Participants start with 2 legless rope climbs followed by as many regular rope climbs as possible in the remaining time. Demonstrators: Mike and Mia demonstrate the workout. They perform on the same rope, taking turns after a rock-paper-scissors game determines who goes first. Mike's Technique: Mike uses an alternating leg Kip for legless rope climbs, incorporating a running start and a jump to improve his ascent. He shows more arm bend and uses a mix of leg and arm strength. Mia's Technique: Mia employs a frog pump technique for her legless climbs, pulling her knees and heels up together. Her rope climbing technique is more efficient with straighter arms and better leg engagement. Rope Climb Efficiency: The video emphasizes using leg momentum and proper technique to reduce upper body fatigue. Efficient climbers use feet and legs to assist with the climb, minimizing arm strain. Fatigue Management: The importance of managing fatigue in later sets is highlighted. Participants are encouraged to push their limits while maintaining technique to avoid "spilling over" and failing attempts. Training Progression: The workout is part of a progressive training plan aimed at improving rope climb endurance. Previous tests included variations for different skill levels, from advanced legless climbs to simpler regular rope climbs with isometric holds. Competition Strategy: During competition, it’s advised to take risks in the final set to maximize performance. In training, it’s important to simulate competition conditions and test limits to prepare for real events. Practice Tips: Practicing the final Kip and reaching for the target is recommended. Setting a tape halfway up the rope for practice can help improve the final reach and technique. Final Results: Mike and Mia complete their final sets, with Mike showing impressive technique despite limited practice. Mia’s technique remains efficient, though she struggles more with legless climbs as the workout progresses. Mia’s total reps are reported as 65.
