Mrs. Homesteader and I have decided to try home brewing. We have checked out a lot of videos on RU-vid and want to thank "Doing it Cheap", "wcemichael", "Kentucky Homestead", "ChopandBrew", Craigtube and the endless list of the others that have inspired us to tackle home brewing. This video is from our first partial mash kit. We have since moved on to a all grain brew of Stout we purchased from Central Street Farmhouse in Bangor, Maine! We hope you enjoy the video and remember we are new to the game!!

The brewers best kits are great, normaly I do all-grain, but last time I was in the brew shop I picked up one of the kits, very happy about it. Awesome stuff. Happy brewing everyone, cheers from Norway.. :-)

looks like a very nice beer i may have to try it my self . But I was always told to use a stainless steel pot. If you use Aluminum pot you could get tanins from it but if not Happy brewing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers!!!!!!!!!! I did a coffee porter i still have another to wait it has been bottled for a week. I can't wait LOL!!!!!

Great video. I've just started brewing here recently and have only done 2-1 gallon batches. i was at my local brew supply store and picked up a 5 gallon Brewers Best kit of Imperial Nut Brown which i will be brewing on Wednesday. I might have to pick the Russian Stout up next.....Cheers
