Using bricks for a bed border and rocks to edge the magnolia trees, I aim to make the garden look neater.
Please relax and come garden with me. This video is my knock-off version of slow living garden life popularized by Korean and Japanese RU-vid gardeners with #ASMR vibe. (Wink wink). Did I say knock-off? Yes… I still hope you like it. (heart emoji).
She glides slowly over her well kept lawn to show how she refreshes her garden… then she walks past neatly pruned rose bushes that makes you wish you planted some last spring. Another gardener makes a natural garden pathway using flat stones and stonecrop ("sedum") ground covers. The ambience seems to be in a sad mood and the music is somber, but the scenes are so tranquil and quiet they effortlessly transport you to their very own secret garden like it was yours too. In the end, you feel a renewed motivation to go out and putter in the garden yourself. That’s what I felt anyway, watching a few videos from famous Korean and Japanese gardeners on you tube.
Well someday y videos would be relaxing like that and my garden a place of daydreaming or careless tranquility. Someday, maybe. For now, here is a poor imitation of a slow living gardening life video. I hope you enjoy it. Perhaps it can help you relax or lull you to a nap or better yet, a deep sleep. Either way, may you find some rest in my garden.
Take care and be of good health…
Yours,
Maiah
