This 2 man is actually insane without surges, Final stand is so incredibly tight that we had a run fail because of a single body shot.
The encounter is mostly sound with a few occasional quirks like the stasis subjugator teleporting or being thrown off the map, but practically everything is fine, the one genuine annoyance/problem is that the triangle attack gives resonance so much faster than the others which means that stepping into a triangle at x3 is death regardless of how long you stay in it.
The health bar without the benefits of surges is also insane and lots of runs die purely because of a few misplaced sniper shots or not having any/enough ammo to shoot to loot.
Overall, this was a lot of fun and felt amazing to clear after attempting for roughly 15 hours.
