A spring snowstorm dropped 5 inches of snow in Bozeman Tuesday night and up to 18 inches in the surrounding mountains.
According to the Montana Department of Transportation, snow caused hazardous driving conditions and accidents on Bozeman Pass, causing officials to close both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 90 between Bear Canyon and exit 330 in west Livingston on Wednesday morning. Stuck vehicles also blocked all lanes of traffic on Bridger Canyon Drive Wednesday morning.

It's not the snow and ice which causes accidents but it's those who lack the skill to properly drive on snow and ice who causes pill ups and other accidents. During my time truckn I've never had any issues truckn through severely icy conditions even when the roads weren't treated yet I still passed countless of wrecked vehicles with ease. Those who aren't good at managing severe icy conditions shouldn't go out in the 1st place.
