YEP! I have always wondered why the media has kept the con game going. Always saying there needs to be a playoff in college football lol. So I guess NAIA, DIII, DII, & FCS never counted as college football. All have had playoffs for years.

Not before it gets destroyed by NIL and the transfer portal. The FBS will split before going to a legit playoff. We'll end up with a couple dozen elite teams (pay to win), then everybody else with no postseason.

@@wongyangus The NCAA won't let the FBS grow past 150. They're already significantly increasing the requirements (and cost) to join, in an effort to discourage more teams from moving up.

Griz threw a pick, missed 2 easy FG’s, gave up 3 monster plays, McDowell was off most of the night, zero run game and made costly penalties. Somehow they still won. Better clean up their play for SD or NDSU or they will lose next week. Go Griz!

You have to remember this is the FCS level. They don't always have the range like they do in the FBS. Even if they have range, they definitely lack the accuracy.

@@smithn.wesson495 75%? 😂 Come on be realistic. Just on team roster depth, all 4 of those teams struggle with the lower 25% of any FBS Conference. Every now and then one of the Dakota teams come up with an upset of an Iowa St or a Northwestern. These two teams against oh let’s say SMU? Nope. Louisville? Nope. FCS is good football. Fun to watch. Heck they even have a real playoff. Love that. They might could beat 20%. Maybe.

Refs had obvious bias towards Montana. Any other ref crew would of called the block in the back penalty on them during punt return for TD. As there were two glaring obvious miscalls by the terrible refs.

the refs sucked, bailed the Paladins out several times. Terribly late False start at the end of the game too after they already missed the 2 point conversion. The refs were definetly not biased towards the griz, they were bad in general

@@marcusking332 Layoff the crack. Montana won despite being called for bogus defensive pass interferences on quite a few plays. The Furman QB was stopped short on the 4th down run at about 13:55 and he was given the first down.

FBS vs FCS. Remember it’s not the size of the school or student body, it’s how many scholarships you are allowed to give out that determines your place. I’m not sure if they still take stadium size into consideration. Montana and Montana State pack in more fans than a lot of FBS schools

Missoula native here, huge Griz fan. Crazy game, good win. But WTF was the db thinking when he picked off that pass near game end. He’s got to try to run that back. Furman still had three timeouts left and 2 1/2 minutes. It’s unbelievable how many players don’t have any game situational awareness in their damn heads. Heart attack game, sheesh 🙄

So many missed block in the back penalties calls by the refs. Montana should of been called for it twice on the punt return for TD. Guess Montana had biased hometown refs for this game. Furman got cheated and still outplayed Montana.

@@marcusking332 Either you're smoking some bad granola or you were watching a different game. The officials were bailing out Furman constantly. The Grizzlies were called for multiple defensive pass interferences when it was a 50/50 ball. It's like they were not allowed to defend the pass. The Furman QB was stopped short on the 4th down run at about 13:55 and he was given the first down as well. Montana overcame the officials attempts to help Furman win.

Furman clearly didn't convert on 4th down. Refs gave them that. Then the pass interference call added insult to injury. The only reason it went to overtime was because the refs were so bad.

Yeah anyone watching it on TV could clearly see Furman didn't convert on 4th down. And they didn't even replay it. The refs literally kept Furman in the game
