@pinkmartini2 maybe it was a little bit rude, but its good when people express their opinion and Alan ball just doesn´t get it that so many people don´t like Sookie and Bill together; especially almost everyone who has read the books tends to dislike Bill, but BAll constantly propps him up and made him now king, which is kind of ridicolous, come on, a 175 year old king and his sheriffs are all so much older than him, they could just easily rip his head off!!

This show is strictly for the maturer audience but why do i get the feel that there are alot of squirmish annoying little fangirls watching this.

Wow, the whole 'I wouldn't watch it if it wasn't for Eric!!' fangirl crap gets old quickly.

Alex and Kristen were totally rocking that Panel, they overshadowed everyone they are so sweet.

@sneekz07 Uhm, I don't know which book you read, but the one I did didn't have Lafayette or Jessica alive, Bill wasn't king, Godric wasn't Eric's maker, didn't involved Jason being gang raped, Marnie wasn't even in the books, where is Amelia?, the cat? Claudine wasn't dead and so on, so please, don't even tell me he's 'folllowing' the books. AB is basing part of the story on the books of CH, and then going by his own desires, not even caring at all about the book readers or the TB followers.

@truebloodluvr1 The crowd wasn't attacking Stephen Moyer or Anna Paquin, nor their marriage, nor their work or their characters individually, they were only expressing their dislike with Bill/Sookie relationship, and that is not disrespectful. Most fans are just tired of AB shoving Beel/Sookeh in our faces, even some of us actually enjoy them separately. It's just the continous insistence of AB with that couple that got people tired, and it doesn't help that AS's character is more likeable.

@truebloodluvr1 I don't think it was disrespectful. I think this is a risk you take when you go to this events. You know people get passionate about characters with big fanbase, also this is like their 3º or 4º comic con?, they should know by now that Eric & Sookie have the biggest fan base. Besides the didn't boo or said No to the character 'Bill Compton' or the character 'Sookie Stackhouse', they boo to the idea of them together. I mean, I like Bill alone just fine, but with Sookie, please no.

@toddlover Totally agree. People in general don't like all the Bill/Sookie hook up cos now it's time for Eric/Sookie. I'm glad people spoke their minds and let AB know what the general audience want.....TEAM ERIC!

@iiinees93 What are you talking about? This is nothing about audience. Alan is just trying to follow the books. The build up between Sookie/Eric is supposed to be this way. If you are adapting a book you don't just do what you want because of an audience, you respect the storyline and try to honour the author by doing so.

@draklila It's not about what the audience want, you have to honour the books. If he had written the show then fine, but he didn't. So people need to stop screaming about Sookie & Eric and just fucking wait to see what happens.

@pinkmartini2 well they are right; its funny that it are always only the moderators on the panel or of celebrity magazines asking that stupid question if they will get back together; you never hear a fan of the show asking that on an event, B and S are not really popular, it was boring; But I have heard that everyone was screaming when they saw the trailer for the rest of the season in which Eric and Sookie were getting closer, thats what people want to see.

@WordSlinger81 Id have to Agree with you about them both being complex characters. i do not hate bill like most TB fans do, but im definetly team Eric. Both may not have been good to sookie in the past seasons, but i feel like everything Eric did he did truly out of his love for sookie, not in the beginning, but definetly in season 3 with russell, i feel he truly loves her, and everything crappy he has done to her in some way or another was to protect her.

@Aveo00 He's been saying it for years, and the people who say they will stop watching continue to watch, so I think he's called their bluff at this point. Obviously he's not staying true to the books or Claudine would still be alive, Lafayette would be dead and Jessica wouldn't exist. AB is not going to change his mind because some fans booed at Comic-Con. Team Bill won the Battle of the Fang last year so obviously Bill has some fans. Eric's fans are just louder. Just keep the show interesting.

@WordSlinger81 Then the show will lose like half its audience; Ball always says he wants to stay true to the spirit of the books, so it sickens me if he does this crap. And this Bill glorification on the show is also seriously annoying, him being king now makes no sense at all, and for some strange reason he is also more stronger now, weird because he is just 100 something years old. And on the comic con panel you could clearly see that Bill is not so popular like Alan Ball wants him to be.

@Aveo00 AB has already said for years now that he's not going to follow the books very closely, so if people are still getting pissed about it after all this time I'm surprised they are still watching the show. Neither Bill nor Eric have been particularly good to Sookie over the past 3 seasons, and neither of them is black & white good or evil. I prefer them as complex characters, and like Anne said it's "complicated road back." To me that implies they will get back together at some point.

I don't think the crowd was being rude. Some where booing the idea of Bill and Sookie getting back together, some people were cheering. The only stupid thing is to suggest all the fans feel the same way. If the fans weren't divided, the character drama would not be as interesting. AB obviously cares what fans think, but he's not going to let them decide how the show progresses. I think Sookie will ultimately end up with Bill, but I don't really care as long as the show is still entertaining.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that Comic Con is for the fans. For them to have a good time and celebrate their love for the shows that they love because if it wasn't for the audience there wouldn't be a show. So I think its disrespectful of you to criticise people for expressing their opinions on the characters relationship not the actors. But this is all getting away from the fact that the magicinthenumbers gave us awesome videos of an awesome show called TRUE BLOOD! thank you!!

@draklila Lafayette and Jessica are two of the things that Alan BAll has done good work with, but other things like the Bill glorification were no good ideas. the only people who are always complaining about the book readers are just the few Bill fans that are out there. Alan Ball always says he wants to stay true to the spirit of the books, so he cannot change up the book stories completely.

@WordSlinger81 LOL; thats crap; the reason why he won the fang thing is because it was some donation stuff, and Moyer is doing something like this often, so many people did spend the money for him. and also because of the rat beating reveal Bill has lost some fans and his character is not really likable this season.

I think this person mainly said "kill the baby" because she doesn´t want to see the storyline anymore, they should give the more important characters more screen time and I have to agree on that.

@kimmeelizabeth Someone answered already, but a lady yelled out "kill that baby!" And the guy asking the questions said that Joe is filming a movie in Atlanta and Sam's wife is about to be have twins.

For some reason, I fear that Alan Ball dislikes Eric. Maybe because he had this storyline of Bill/Sookie in mind and realised Eric/Sookie are much more popular.

@toddlover Of course, we're the audience....we wanna be heard & we wanna our opinion to be respected...& I know in a way a lot of the writers are doing a good job with the Eric/Sookie relationship. Look at Alexander's face when people said no to Bill/Sookie, he was full of satisfaction & smiling cos he agreed with the people there....you have to love that man!!!!

whoever signed up true blood for a panel at sdcc is a genius because i am way more invested in the show now that i've heard the cast being interviewed. i think they're funny, interesting, cool people and i like their responses to all the questions. MAJOR TB LOVE RIGHT NOW
