My friend, Caitlin, visited me in Miami! After celebrating her birthday, we road-tripped down to Key West, where we BOTH lived out of the minivan for a few days and (somehow) survived. I also visited the last of Florida's 3 national parks: Dry Tortugas. This is a jampacked video, y'all. :)

I am a Fla Native. And these days if you are sleeping almost anywhere in South Fla in a car/van/rv and not in a designated campground/park you could wind up with either an expensive ticket or under arrest. Not a place to boondock.

I can only speak for Sarasota/Fort Myers, the Keys, and Homestead, but I haven't run into any issues so far!

The one I went to in this video was just an outdoor shower, so not really a "shower" and isn't meant to be used as such 😅

It’s great being young and free. But man, you gotta get out of this so called van life thing before you get older. When you’re older your lifestyle is called being homeless. It will get heavy and tiresome and desperate. You’ll lose your subscribers amd income. You’ll lose your youthful cuteness and sense of optimism. Living in a shitty van will no longer be an adventure but a desperate necessity.
