I am one of those people Wayne, and yes I do have a great appreciation for what farmers do for the country. It amazes how different farming is across the country. Living out West and see farmers in the Central and South Eastern parts of California, is extremely different. Of course out here they grow mostly crops for food where as a lot of the Midwest farmers grow for fuel. I'm just glad to see so many share there experiences with us all.

Brother I honestly can say Chet for a Young man could absolutely take over the Complete Farm Operation without missing a beat. You can tell Dougo did a great job keeping Chet in his back pocket. My son is identical to Chet, Our Son has taken over the complete Construction/ Contracting Company which I Ran for 35 Years. He is 36 now but he has been pretty much doing like Chet does now he is Running the whole Operation. The Company is a Multi Million Dollar Company that has a Excavation Side and a Concrete Side My Son isn’t one of these owners who drives around he gets in the trenches from Running Iron to Help Pour Concrete if Needed. He followed My Foot Steps for a While so I told Him one day to Don’t take that path of Least Resistance that I laid for him but to Make His Own Path and Leave a Trail. Very Good Advise because he has taken it to new Heights. But here in Michigan they Passed the Recreational Weed Law, Now you Can Get Help because they Can’t pass a Pre Employment Drug Screen because I would never Hire Dopers but nowadays you have to hire who ever you can. But we have a Strict Anti Drug Or Alcohol Policy that puts the Teeth in Employment Situation so I catch them One Time They are Escorted of The Job Sight, We had to Use that Signed Agreement which Allow Us To Discipline that Individual without any Retaliation or Unemployment issues. Anyway I went Babbling one I suppose, What a Great Operation that The Family has, They Plant 6000 Acres and Trust Me that Many Acres can be a Nightmarish Deal. I will Keep Praying for Our Friends at Larson Farms.

Mark Bowe of Barnwood Builders once said people told me "To never hire family or friends. He said "I hire friends and treat them like family."" As a small business owner I wish I could hire family and friends and treat them the way you do. Never forget who has gotten you to where you are and compensate them well.. Monetary compensation means very little to compare to be treated like family. Hire smarter people, work harder, so that they realize isn't that worth doing it themselves.

@cw93711
@cw93711 Год назад
@@mikegozdziewski3289 not allot of Americans work 12 hour days 4 days a week much less 7. Americans that work 12 hour days usually work 3 days a week for 36 hours weeks. 12 hour days a day x 7 days is 84 hours so even for a farmer that's allot of hours. Only time farmers surpass that is harvest time if cash crop farmers. Small dairy farmers work more cause they can't afford employees. But most farmers try to stay under 50 hours a week other than planting and harvest for cash crop farming, don't have even big deal with irrigation or spreading fertilizer or spreading herbicide when it's 120 to 140 ft reach and tractors can fly now compared to what they used to be able to do. Like Chets calculation showed just adding the 9 feet to their land roller on the demo added 120 acres minimum per day. 72 row corn planters I mean WTF is next. Lot different than the 8 row were used. Now 36 row high speed planters are common. Grain carts that hold 2 semi loads.

Y’all BOYS ARE ON FIRE🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥‼️ I have been really excited about seeing Larsons Farm notifications everyday! I was just thinking with this New Guy….maybe we would get more camera time!!! Give The New Guy a week and put the camera on him with The Boys in the shop and I know it would be hilarious! Hey that would be great to have once a week/month to have All the boys and men have a round table inside the shop and Chet can be the commentator and Mr. Dougo will give his expertise and all the boys will bring THE FLARE! You could bring a guest star in sometime… I think it’s awesome../.. MORE WITH THE LARSON BOYS! Multi-generational ranch..// All that it takes year round down. New products vs old-which is better. History of the farm…Future of The Farm! It’s just mind blowing the opportunities and this is a highlight when I get my notifications…..SORRY…I have to to Go! Fun Awaits 😂
