Antonia, thank you very much. I have found your tutorials to be the best. There are lots to choose from and to be honest there are some people doing good ones BUT they also have some BAD ones! I'm looking forward to progressing with all your tutorials. The most important thing for me is repetition of the correct pronounciation. I also feel that not putting the phonetic spelling of words on the video is better - I default to reading the latin spelling. If I only have the cyrilic word to read I learn faster. Great work & thanks again.

there is no equivalent of the letter Ж in English alphabet, the sound is usually transcribed as "zh"

I speak Spanish, its more difficult to learn Russian from an English speaker or Spanish speaker? so the Russian alphabet doesnt have an equivalent for Spanish/English alphabet?

Why is the д in менеджер not pronounced as the English "d" sound? Is there a specific rule for this letter or is it just not pronounced in some words like silent letters in English?

Antonia, thank you very much for the videos. And for your answers and friendship too. I have a doubt about the pronunciation in russian language (a lot of doubts, actually). When you change the names of places or people (in the cases ) do you also change the pronunciation. For instance, Glastonbury. In a part of the russian Mists of Avalon there is a sentence with B GLASTONBURE, which means In Glastonbury. But when I pronunciate this in russian, must I change the pronunciation of the letter R? Not the R as in english (as in "are - Glastonbury) but as the "russian" R? Glastonbury. (I don't know if I was clear enough)
