Pastor Paul I'm reading the Bible through this year. I added your videos to the process in Judges and now we're here. For the first time in my life, I truly enjoy Bible study. Partly because you make it interesting but because I'm making connections through your teachings I've never made before. There's depth to my learning. Now I get mynown revelations about what's being communicated in the stories and how they apply to my life and the lives of those around me. Thank you Sir.
My wife and I enjoy listening to your teachings of the holy scriptures! May God multiply your congregation and bless your home! Thank you brother Paul.
Hello. I’m from Manitoba Canada. Love your videos. I’m working on reading the bible front to back and some things I find very hard to understand. Glad I found these videos. A blessing from god no doubt. They help me understand what I’m actually reading. I really appreciate them a lot.
Lord help me to not feel good when my enemies are punished. David handled sauls downfall very gracefully as will I when I get crowed and take my thrown
Pastor Paul, God Bless You! I am reading through the Bible with my church here in Texas, and every chance I get, I watch your teaching on the correlating scriptures. We are one body in Him and I thank God for you.
In agreement with this whole message and 2 samuel 1-2, samuel 1:21 I bind every anointing of my unrepentant opponents, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
I started the year off trying to read thru the Bible using a plan that used both OT and NT every day, it became a burden for me as it was so disjointed. Then I found your videos and listening to them as I read has really helped me. I may not make it in a year but I am understanding so much more! Thank you and your church for making these available!
It was important to add the information regarding Abner spearing the man from front to back. There is a hidden message. To stab the man from the front shows that the man knew whole heartedly that he was pursuing an armed man to kill him. He faced the armed Abner and Abner killed him from the front, that the male knew death was coming and still followed after. To stab the man in the back, tells a tale of a murder. If he were stabbed in the back the narrative changes to Abner killed a man who was fleaing for his life. I believe that when people saw the image of the man speared from the front it illustrates the true story of what took place and also displaya the deceased as a brave man instead of a coward. It also helps keep Abner from looking murderous and instead a just man.
Funny how I have been convicted from some of your little ramblings, lol I am guilty of praying and falling asleep almost every night.. I will have to remedy this by praying before I get into bed.
Can you reverse the order of the playlist please so it will play in the right order; YT is obnoxiously refusing to let people do that, only the maker of the playlist can.
how can it be that David morned over his enemy and in the previous chapter he was willing to go into battle against his own people? something doesnt add up or I am missing the thread of the plot.
David got a soft heart and he doesn't rejoice over the fall of his enemy which is what God wants which is the commandment of God to love your enemy,he was willing to go against his people previously as he had given up and was walking in compromise
