I never had any re-packing problems anywhere, neither with my old tent (a bigger 1988er 2 person tent with an awning) nor with other stuff like sleeping bag or rain jacket ... but if I had I would compress it with cordage or put it into a bigger bag.
@@brumkid100 might be a late reply, but go for a more compact one. Like, nowadays, you can get tents that can be compressed almost to the size of a 2 liter bottle and weigh below 3 kgs.
Cool idea for car camping, but at 10.4lbs that is definitely not a backcountry tent. I have a four person tent my three kids and I use for backcountry and it weighs nearly half as much. Even at car camping, for that weight I could bring a bigger tent with better ventilation. Don’t get me wrong, that would be awesome if you had to set up camp in inclement weather at the car campground - quick and easy. No information on what the material specs are on website etc. Assuming they are using a heavier denier fabric; maybe it’s necessary with the hub system, but it would contribute to the weight on this thing along with the hub system. For example, my Copper Spur HV UL2 is just a tick over 3 pounds and packs up nearly same size.
Very clever tent but, I can't help feeling if it takes another, what, 5 minutes to pitch a normal 3 pole dome and that 5 minutes is crucial to you, maybe camping ain't for you, afterall it's all about relaxing isn't it?
It's a very heavy weight side... They do need to work on that issue . And need to manufacture and sell additional foot print for it. I actually own this and I'm very happy with it .
In minute 2:30 there is a cut. Yes, everything is easy but you must be aware when folding to do it right. He did it wrong that's the reason of the video edition.
So, are there three layers in the door? Looks like you unzipped two, then when you got inside, it looks like you zipped up a half-door mesh screen where you can see outside. Other reviewers are saying there are no vestibules or windows on this tent.
yeah its an inner and outer tent, works nicely overall used it over 2 weeks during a motorcycle tour with sunshine and rain and there was nothing to complain about actually
Mini-Hub Style tent, but if you're going to add all the weight of a hub-style configuration, why not also add an option for a expedition double-wall configuration for those that camp in extreme environments, but want a tent?
Does not seem easier than the former 2seconds system. More mechanics, more problems. Plus, the door is too close to the inner net, causing moisture to move inside in the morning. That was the main problem of the former one and they did not fix it! I found that "bug" just after the first night. I cannot understand how they did not see it after so many years of development and customers complaints...
for the price i can absolutely not complain about it, also i choose this one cose of the package Form and size because u can easily store it on ur motorcycle for example and i just came back from a 2 week tour with rain ec and allot of different campsites and i had bo moisture inside. Also note i didn't use the hooks in this video if u actually propper put it up and use all the hooks u have quite some space between inner and outer tent
la même en version camouflage et je fait tout pour en avoir une ,décathlon en a fait une qui ressemble a une roue de vélo pas transportable pour un randonneur , par contre cette tente rentre dans un sac a dos bravo
This is a very long 2 seconds... side wall isn't high enough, let the puddles stream in! Looks heavy too.. id take that 1 season car camping and put the kids in it. That's about it.!
In the night somebody might come and pop your buttons, where would you be then? Mildly disoriented at best I'd have thought so not for me but thanks for the review!
