I have completed the 2 sewing binder junk journals I have been working on. They were a lot of fun to make. I hope you enjoy seeing them! My shopwww.etsy.com/shop/PrettyPinkC... The Old Design Shop: www.etsy.com/shop/TheOldDesig...
Beautiful sewing journals, Diane! So many wonderful vintage details. I love that you thought to print the pages on patterned paper and to embellish the flashcards. 😊
Stunning journals Diane. One of my favorite series to watch. The binders are so cool and reminds me of my mother and all the wonderful little dresses she made me over the years. She had a black handled pair of pinking shears, yellow measuring tape, and thimble much like the ones on the BHG book. I still have and cherish those things. T
wow...love the DT project and darn you...now I have to purchase the old Design Shop sewing digital kit. I really like the 70's cover and will be on the hunt for one. Thanks again for all of your videos. Request, or suggestion, how about just using vintage stuff/junk that is prior to the year 1940. I love the ads, books, and fashions.
I will be making journals using mostly vintage ephemera at some point... soon, I hope!! Thanks for the suggestion. And, you know, the point of doing DT projects is to get people to buy the digi kits, so I guess I did my job!! Lol
You did a great job as usual. I would love to have a digital set from your art journal. I know your art book is really personal and I would understand if you were not comfortable with that. Your work reminds me of Jen Hatfield(?) with a Diane flair.
I didn't even count the pages. I had a sort of pattern of an index tab page, followed by 2 pages from the binder, with 3 or 4 assorted pages, then another tab page. When the binder was pretty full, I stopped!
