The car with no compression will most likely be a broken valve spring. Seen it a few times. Camshaft out and new spring fitted. Car done in a day going well

I have a black MK3 vrs wagon but my favourite Skoda colour is the red, my missus has a red one and when polished up it looks absolutely amazing.

Great idea ! Compression test on all three before turning a wrench . The results will determine your next move ...we are excited to see where it goes from here ! .

Hate to burst your bubble but a person did put a Audi 2.5 RS3 engine in a Skoda Octavia but was a RS type. Found it on Autoevolution. Name of the article is called: Skoda Octavia RS With 2.5 TFSI, DQ500 and AWD Is an MQB Masterpiece. But great video anyway and I hope it all goes well. 🙂

Looking forward to this . Glad you seem to stick to in most everyday cars . I have watched a few going down this road and before you know it they are fixing very expensive cars and that is where I lose interest as would not be able to ever own cars in that price range .

Why not put the rs3 engine in the red one, since you need to remove the engine from that one already. The white one is an easy fix.

When I saw the towing eye in the red one I knew where this was going… great idea 😎👌🏼

This is incredible!!! Mate I'm so excited for this. I've got a 2020 Octavia VRS in Nano Grey. Currently it's 320Bhp with a stage 1, milltek exhaust, k&m air system, black badges all round, yellow front fog lights and carbon fibre paddle shifters. I absolutely love it. But to put a 2.5 in... FM that's gonna rip

I've been thinking about this swap since I had my 2017 estate. There's one in Eastern Europe but its hard to get full details. Class series idea.

The MK2 Octavia has been done in Eastern Europe already, there is a video of a 2.5tfsi converted Octavia racing a Lamborghini, not seen a MK3 as you are doing yet. Also I have converted my MK2 Octavia to 4wd, as you are using the MQB platform and an MQB car you should find everything just bolts on, prop should be same length, you may find some mounting points missing in places, on my MK2 it was missing a tank strap mounting point for instance, and if the battery is located in the boot on the RS3 you may find the boot floor doesn’t have the right layout for the battery relocation 👍 good luck with the project 🙌🏻

Why didn’t you found vrs 4x4 tdi model? You have tunnel and mounts for awd system on that one, now you will need mounts and brackets for awd no? Good luck with the project!

Super excited about this project! I would 100% have a vRS Combi looks over an RS6. A friend got one and it just looked plasticky and cartoonish and not in a good way. RS4 maybe if someone else was paying but no way it’s a sleeper.

Unless you are uprating the crank, leave the stock turbo and get the 400 + HP tune done. Make sure you replace the duel mass flywheel also. You will also need to relocate the battery into the back.

The estate VRS is going to be a amazing with the RS3 engine and 4wd, great idea for a project.
