2 Step Chem-X and Brush Wash EXTREAMLY DIRTY Truck Fleet Washing

Hey Bradd me too I'm in MA and we only get 8 months of real work and some cold days in the winter

Where I work we wash year round In canada We use hot water About 240 Fahrenheit all year round, with zep tnt truck wash high pressure soap. We have trucks like the Freightliner you're washing Non cdl with about a 1000 gallons of water and 55 gallons of soap plus 4 to 6 buckets of soap

What do you use for ratio or can I just downstream it so be like 10:1

@@SoftWashFactory yes I cut the step 1 per Bob’s recommendations and left the un used in the foam cannon. Next time I went to use it the acid in step 1 corroded the filter in front of the foam cannon. Had to take the nozzle apart and clean the filter out.

@@vansage2691 I don’t know you, but these two soaps work for a touchless wash no brush needed. I use it on my black cars. No problem 98% results

@@Pedroluvslupe from my experience the step one corrodes the filter mesh on the front of the foam cannons he has. I use it to with great success. Not rinsing the nozzle is the issue for me.

@Van Sage yes you need to rinse out the foam cannons or your right they will corrode and become junk

Not the answer you want, but it depends on machines gpm and the extent of the wash...

@@SoftWashFactory okay help me out then how many gallons per minute should I get in what size minimum tank should I have trying to save money from going to the Blue Beacon and load a tank and equipment in my SUV and wash my semi truck please let me know thanks

@@jonplay3602 I generally use about 20 gallons of water to do a 2-step wash on a Road Tractor. You'll probably use 12 gallons of water if you foam on soap and brush it. Of course, this also depends on whether it's a Condo Sleeper, Coffin Bunk or a day cab but either way If you get a 50-gallon tank and a good 3.3-4 gallon per minute machine you'll be good and you'll save yourself tons of money. Brush I was using is from Lowes a window brush

I would go for a box truck. This truck is my backup truck. For when areas are tight or need to bring water and use a 4gpm machine. I have a service body 12 ft box truck I use for house and roof washing.

I acually got this wand from Chem-X should be a suttner wand

the handle is just a sleeve over a lance but that handle is sick you can loosen it and put it whereever on the lance and either side

I use tap water and depending on the customer we do the glass after.

On this truck too much like 100 gallons because I stepped and it didn't work because it was a first time wash that needed to be brushed really.

I didn't, actually. I know some people use a leaf blower or use water that is run thru RO DI water filter system, so there are no water spots.

Your absolutely right there was areas that didn't come clean thought I'd brush still no difference. These trucks haven't been washed in forever.

In my area in MA it's on avg $75-$120 depending on how many trucks. I try to only do it if there's 6+ trucks

I’m getting my first box truck next week and I charged $200 for interior and exterior. Didn’t really know how much to charge but it’s a 10’ box truck
