Thank you sir Ed..Maganda po talaga yang SIPS na yan ang pagkakabit po nyan magflofloring muna tapos maglalagay ng railing po para doon islide sya male at female po sya na isasalpak lang sa pagitan at lalagyan ng screws...sa korea po ilang beses na kami nakapagkabit nyan pwede po yan kahit saan sa wall,rooftop,flooring,devider..dahil nga po islide lang sya kahit dalawang tao mabubuo ang structure at ok din dahil magaan din sya..sa korea po halos lahat ng factories ganyan ang ginagamit kc nga mabilis maassemble compare sa chb..pero po umaayon lang yan sa panahon pag malamig malamig sya pag mainit mainit din yan...sa bahay naman po hindi masyadong ginagamit yan kahit sa korea mas gusto nila pag bahay bricks o chb pa rin..😂

Salamat po sa informative video. Matagal na po ako nagtataka walang poste at biga ang house namin dito sa US, 24 years na kami nakatira ok na ok pa rin. Ilang tornado watch na dinaanan namin😆 awa ng Dios nakatayo pa rin. At napansin ko rin architect sa construction dito mas inuuna nila ang flooring at plumbing at napakabilis talaga matapos. The information you' ve provide are good although you didn' t mentioned the cost of using this ECO SIPS product ,for us consumers we also take in consideration specially what would be the cost for us in buildng our dream houses whch is the first and foremost thing to consider is the budget .

Architect ED....excellent technology in the 21sT century. I hope no scrupolous businessmen will manufacture SUBSTANDARD materials of this kind. Likewise, the government thru the DTI, specifically the Bureau of Standards, will strictly implement the highest standard in its production. We know for a fact that many, if not almost, constructoonayerials in the market are of SUBSTANDARD QUALITY, all yo the disadvantage and danger to the public in general. I hope CORRUPTION will not be employed so as to undermine the high quality of these new construction innovations. The UAP and other professional groups involved in the construction industry must be the guardians for a high quality standards of all materials.

ArkiEd, off topic… I have yet to see this from any of your videos and I have watched them all. maybe it’s a good video to do for next time? Since you also specialize in construction, how about covering demolition costs for those that would require an architect for structural purposes in building a 2-story home from a bungalow? how is demolition priced? I ask because I have purchased a bungalow from a subdivision that I eventually plan to renovate to a 2-story home when I retire and I have not seen any videos in this platform of what demolishing will cost and would like to get an idea sa pricing. may experience na po ba kayo sa topic na ito? sana po mapansin nyo ang tanong ko. Salamat po maam sa suggestion. Unang factor po is yung worth ng existing structure. If narami pong masa-salvage na materials like hardwood, wrought iron, steel rebars, or mga old na mga metal products saka mga steel windows, makakakuha po kayo ng demolition contractor na kayo pa po ang babayaran nila in exchange sa mga "valuables" na scrap. If hindi na po makukunan ng mga ganung items ang bahay, you will pay them po. They will charge you for the labor and hauling of debris. May mga contractor po ng demolition. The last time na nakaencounter po ako nito is for an old bungalow na mga around 100sqm. The contractor charged me 35k all-in. It varies though depende po sa mga items na itatapon nila kasi magbabayad din po sila sa dump site. I hope nasagot ko po ang tanong nyo maam. 😊

I now have an idea of how to proceed with my plan. may 2nd question po ako about building permits. sabi nyo po on your other video that the building permit is good for a certain timeframe and to not let the job go untouched for certain months. for those of us who plans to go the 'by-phase" route, what if I have a rough finish built then the finishing in phases but in a span of a few years per section. ex: rough finish, wait 2 years then work on ceiling works and tiles. wait again 2 years then work on paint and fixtures, etc. need pa po ba ng bagong building permit for each section ng finishings? sana po makapag reply kayo ulit, Thank you po.

@@rubymagdaug2441 the only exemption po sa bldg permit "fees" ay projects na 15k ang worth. Anything beyond that amount, by law, ay kukuha at magbabayad ng building permit. Depende po sa city and municipality ang cost ng permit.

May gumamit na ba ng material na ito in real situation and homogenous at nakaranas na ang structure ng hurricane and major earthquake? Ang earthquake simulation kasi na pinakita dito hindi loaded ang structure: walang furniture, appliances, at walang piping and electrical installations, at walang dwellers. So, basically the structure was only supporting its own weight while resisting the simulated forces of nature. Paano kung may furniture, refrigerator, aircons, condensers, cookers, beds, and toilet fixtures na? Makakadagdag sila sa sustained forces na susuportahan ng material while the stresses were being applied. The material test results from UP and DOST are quite impressive though. Fantastic and educational YT vlog you have Architect Ed. Thank you.

The whole structure can be ruin by strong flood in pinas lalo sa low areas. In US, CANADA AND WESTERN COUNTRIES, MATERIALS MENTIONS are use after concrete foundation floor and walls up to 4ft...and thickness of two bricks.

What I can say sir is that it will still be difficult to sell this technology here. There's that problem with the culture and prejudice in the minds of potential clients. It is quite impossible to overcome that. The technology is not really new and it was scientifically tested, all the works. There is proof it works. But the problem is that those same people would rather believe pretenders, charlatans, and fake practitioners. That is our situation right now.

Regarding the earthquake simulation, I think it was just a shell, I mean what if there were loads inside the house? The way it was swaying if there were appliances and people inside, those added weights might have caused a different result from that simulation.

Iba pa ba yung sa Cavite plant na HDI ba yun? Gumagawa din ng mga panels, meron silang stock na ready made panels at pre designed house, pwede din daw na pasadya yung sukat ng panels at kapag na deliver na sa site, ikakabit na lang na parang laruang lego yung bahay, similar yata yun sa housing na ginawa noong 2017 sa Tacloban, mukha syang polycarbonate hard plastic pero matibay at parang tent lang sa bilis ikabit may kasama pang furniture, modern yung itsura may colored na pwede pagpilian kesa bahay kubo na kahoy lang nabubulok nasusunog inaanay, yung sa hdi parang hardiflex pero complete panel na sya meron nang insulation kasama, water fire at termite proof na sya

Regarding Eco Sips, I was about to ask sana kung kaya niya ang load ng mabibigat na claddings like adobe, then I saw the earthquake test, malamang maglalaglagan ang cladding niyan. It could be dangerous if they're inside the house as it might fall on someone. Pero, I bet magagawan naman ng adjustments sa materials in certain parts of the house.

There's no proper flooring on the top,but they just put a galvanized roofings, then they put ceiling made of wood, and when it rains, it is leaking, strong water, dropping down on the ground flr. Nice meron na palang local SIP manufacturer. From a friend in the US, ayus naman daw sa hurricane huwag lang mabagsakan ng malalaking kahoy. Sana magkaron din sila PIR/PUR sandwich instead of popular EPS.

If phase by phase po ang pagpapagawa ng bahay, madali po ba itong dugtungan ng extension pataas or even horizontally? Ang plano po kasi, 2 floors lang muna ang ipatayo then kapag financially able na ulit, paoadagdag ng 2 pang floors (total of 4 floors) with the pool on the 4th floor. Kaya po ba ng SIPS or EPS?

@@ArchitectEd2021 Also have the same problem with our renovated dining and den concrete roof slab. Sakit sa ulo waterproofing will need professional help talaga. Eyeing alternative roofing on the other half, older part of the house instead of galvanized iron. Salamat Architect sa educational videos nyo na mukhang mas matibay at matipid in the long run sa maintenance especially.

numbr 1 disadvantage nito is yun pag assemble, you need at least a boom truck, sa manila pahirapan pumasok mga ganyn kalalaking mga sasakyan, add mo pa yun mga salasalabat na kuryente, kaya da best padin si SRC, looking forward sa comparison, pa shout out naman po, thanks
