was they taking the full power or just a good chunk? mine will only take about 3400 rms clean Each for 1-2 demos before getting hot tuned at 6800 for the pair

What taramps amp would work best on on 2 x15v3s there rated at 1500 a piece people are saying 4k rms is okay per sub i was looking at a 5k amp i wanna be able to beat on them without having to worry also what kind of eletrical you got the car im throwing them in has a 220 amp oem alternator and i know thats probably not enough gor 5k rms watts but im gonna havw a volt metter and keep it above 12 volts and upgrade the eletrical as i can but i need to pick a amp and figure out box specs to throw in in my 2017 cherokee any help would be appreciated
A couple things. Xv3 15s can easy take 3 to 4KRMS. Mine are upgraded with ZV6 spiders and coils but even the stock ones can take an 8K four pair easy. However, there aren’t really any amps that can put out 8K without good electrical. And it’s not that I’m worried about you dropping below 12 V, it’s that amps just make so much less power when you’re under 14V. If I were you, before you buy an amp- get some lithium and an alternator at least 300 amp. My taramps smart 8 is great I love it, however if I didn’t have lithium it wouldn’t make anywhere near 8K because my voltage would drop too much.
Dude I cannot get rca output on the sub channel for shit on that head unit no matter what I do. Sub +15, I don’t play past 26. Even fully cranked I’m getting 2.8 volts out of a 4 volt. Is there a secret? lol
@@NotEvenLoudAudiothat, I don’t know. I have a salt 8 on 2 xv3 15 but I have those in an equinox and a kenwood excelon. Was able to rip the back seat out, so getting a 3rd. My wife’s car I have a single SSA evil on an 8 k and it’s barely moving, but I have that damn Alpine. The internal amp clips around 26 so with the dash speakers on HU power for the time being I don’t go over 26.
