I think a spin off between infinite and the next game could be cool. Imagine, a distant human colony, not many inhabitants, an Oni research facility was experimenting with the flood. However, it starts an outbreak, and due to a war with the banished, or something of the sorts, they cannot divert many resources to the colony. And so, you play as an OnI agent, spartan, who has to work with police forces and the few UNSC and ONI forces on the planet, having to prevent it from spreading
