I’ve wanted an Operator 7 for a while, but haven’t been financially able to do it. Too many other blades to get first. I was fortunate enough to have Leo hand me a prototype off his desk before it even had a name. I told him the thickness reminded me of the old Buckmaster 184 that I had decades ago, but it was much more practical in hand. 👍🏼🇺🇸👍🏼
Op7 is 0.33" thick whereas the steel eagle is quarter inch i think. Personally i have experienced that the recurve and the blade thickness creates a bigger "wedge" for chopping, but i have to test my steel eagle yet. Let me update you once i do! Another awesome video, keep it up!
I got that 107D in a trade, and it came like that. If you like that rocky mountain tread style, you can send your blade to Tops knives, and they can add it . If you email info@topsknives.com and tell them what you want to do, they will give you instructions on sending it to them.
