I understand, in fact they are useful but only in case of need.

Hate? It's just comments from people that know Zip Ties will NEVER ever stop a water pipe leak! Water pipes are under pressure and those methods he showed are bogus...someone is just turning the water off as he puts his zip ties on and he fakes it to make it look like he has stopped those leaks. 100% fake.

That isn't true in my case. 10 years ago I was about to move into a new home, and straight away had a leak behind my bathroom wall, upstairs. Water was pissing out through my living room ceiling, downstairs. I could hear where the leak was, behind the bathroom wall, so I smashed a hole in my plasterboard, and it was a "pressurised" copper, cold water pipe. All I could find in the house at the time was a kids party balloon and a thick cable tie. I folded the balloon in 4 and cable tied it, and thought " i hope this will do, til I get it repaired properly. " It worked well. Anyway, I'm still living in my old home, because were getting this new one reinvented, and the bathroom fitters( organized by my wife) turned up, overboarded and tiled the bathroom. I was shitting it, thinking it was going to burst anytime. 10 years later and everything is fine. I certainly wouldn't recommend doing that as a long term repair, and it wasn't going to be, and I do occasionally think "surely that balloon repair is going to burst." But so far all is fine. 10 years later.

Si de echo tiene razón solo que el vídeo está más enfocado en si se tiene el problema y no cierra la llave de paso poder cellar la fuga y después solucionar de la mejor manera

Alguien que si sabe pero esto es para los que no saben

Si los tienes en casa, no gastas nada, creo que el caucho que uso era la cámara de una bicicleta que pudo estar ya dañada y un cincho cuesta como dos pesos a lo máximo. Es una solución temporal, me pareció bien si se daña la tubería en la noche y no te quieres quedar sin agua. A mi se me tapó mi lavadero yo lo destape corte el pvc con un cuchillo de sierra y lo tape primero con film de cocina y después mucha cinta canela y lleva meses no gotea nada. Obvio a largo plazo tiene que venir el plomero peto mientras ya solucione.

Ahora por ejemplo son las 1 de la mañana y se me rompe la cañería y necesito algo provisional tal vez sirva algo hasta que se abra algun lugar donde poder ir a comprar los correctos

Aparte de para una urgencia suponiendo que la llave general este rota o atrancada, para alguien que no tiene demasiados conocimientos o las herramientas para repararlo y el técnico mayor disponibilidad es de un par de días por X motivo son unas buenas técnicas para salir del apuro y no quedarse sin agua en la vivienda! Saludos de un fontanero!
