Luckily, my Chromebook worked the same way, except the screen did look a little different than yours. I’m waiting for it to be finished now. Thanks for such an easy tutorial. I used the second technique because the first one was not compatible with my Chromebook
I followed the first method, and changed to the developer mode. However, while I tried to install an apk, it still blocks me, WTF... the message says "Turn on OS developer mode to install... blah blah"
The first part of the first method shown in the video is wrong. The only thing that clicking "Build number" repeatedly (0:41) does is enable "Android developer options", which is completely separate from ChromeOS developer mode. You can instead just go straight to changing the ChromeOS channel (1:08). The second method shown in the video is valid. Note also that the description does not match the video.
Hello! I have a new ASUS CX55 Flip and am wondering how to enable Linux (Linux Subsystem) on it. Do you have a video for that? I have to search more to determine how to do that. Thank you for the video uploader. 🤗
Im so upset I watched i different video and it did the second method AND IT DIDNT TELL ME IT WOULD ERASE THE LOCAL DATA so I just removed everything on MY MOMS chrome book
Press spacebar when you see the OS verification message on the screen. After that, press the enter key on your keyboard, now your Chromebook will be rebooted so you will have to sign in again but it’s back to normal. You will exit the developer mode.
@@ローロへ i do it diferrently.I Just click in right corner. And above time is developer mode.So i click on it And change on normal And There it Will work after reboot .After it upragde and reset.
Thank you for any response My problem is that my chromebook is at EOL and doesn't load the developer channel stuff The second method might work but I don't want to loose everything what to do??
i have bought a chromebook but there was a account already in it so i make another for myself now when igot to about chrome os and want to change channel it says it can only be change from account 1. what should i do
How do I disable developer mode? I got mine back from service at best buy and it came back in dev mode. It is causing it to not get updates anymore. I've tried powerwashing and it didn't work.
