I encourage you to work with your vet to get a great protocol based on your situation. My mom dogs do not test positive for any worms or for Giardia - thus I do not need to deworm moms at that time but I do deworm puppies because small amounts of them can be in their body and then later (when experiencing stress) the worms can flourish and become a problem. Great dog breeders have a worming protocol that begins at 2 - 3 weeks old and rotates every two weeks - start with a general dewormer made for puppies and two weeks later use Panacur. Then two weeks later go back to the general dewormer made for puppies and two weeks later Panacur. When your puppies go to new homes encourage the new owners to have a fecal sample done when they go to their vet so the new owner is clear if they will need to continue a deworming program at home. If you have two week old puppies you may call them whatever you will enjoy! They will not be able to hear what you are calling them because their ears have not opened yet. If you are planning to let them go to new homes you may want to ask their new families what they want you to begin calling them and do so after their ears open (around 3 weeks old.) Another option is to come up with a theme for your litter - perhaps your favorite vacation locations or places you want to go one day. Does this help?

I do not use a new syringe for each puppy but I do throw away the syringe after giving all the puppies their dose. Thank you for watching.

Hello Gemmalyn, not sure I understand your question - you say you are giving "paracut" - I am not sure what that is? If you only have one syringe clean it well after each use and you can reuse it. I do this myself too. Also ask your vet about any meds you are using to confirm that they agree with the protocol you are using with your puppy.

@@svccschnauzers my vet prescribed it for my puppy, my question was do i need to use gloves while giving it to my puppy? I search the medicine and it says not safe for skin contact
