2. Why do addicts keep using if they know drugs are causing negative consequences in their lives? 

They start using after a vague realization that this civilization is utter garbage. Maybe not in so many words, but that's the gist of it.

The devil made then do it because their parents didn’t lead them to god.

They love their hell and to come out of hell would be like dying. Once to live and once to die but you are already dead.

They cant control if they want the drug but they can strap themselves down and break the cycle

The truth is you could stop being addicted if you wanted to stop. You are okay with harm and harm is good to you because you don’t know good and your parents failed you. The drug is your daddy.
