thank you so much for this advice!!!!!!! im 3 weeks in and already feeling like my hair is so undone and can't look put together because it's so short is SUCH a challenge. im still trying to figure out a moisture routine for my hair bc even as a loose natural it was hard to know what to put in my hair, but ive been washing every week even though everything ive seen has said not to wash for like two months because i have an itchy scalp and i just can't do that lmao. you've given me more confidence in making the best decisions in my hair and being patient with it. love your locs!
Aw im so happy to hear this and thank you so much ! You’ve Got this . The best thing you can do is retrain your mind to redefine what kept or done hair is . It’s definitely a journey but its so worth it .
Thanks for this video. I plan to restart a loc journey and this will be my 2nd set. The first one I have cut off because I wasn’t patient enough to wait for the hair to mature and the transition fase was too hard for me. Now I hope I will feel better, especially because I am restarting with a shorter hair.
I prefer a limper loc. I don't like them stiff. But your locs are beautiful! So far, I've been happy with my interlocking. But my grade of hair is much different than yours, and I think that matters as well. I can't spray my hair every day either. Just different grades.
