After listening to your first videos, I had my transplant with Dr T was in January 2023. I am very happy with the results. Both head and beard hair were used, and was transplanted mostly to the crown. However, my hair is still filling out. Thanks for your recommendation! Dr T did a great job.
I chose not to as I didn’t want to take any drugs but that’s just a personal choice, they might have helped my hair to not recede further but I decided against it.
Hair transplants aren’t perfect, but yours looks really good! I’ve had one done when I was 39. I’m now 56 and so happy I did it back then. Ignore all the idiots who give negative comments. It look great!😀
Have you tried hair thickening fibres? Used properly they are incredibly effective at adding more density to the hair. With your current density following the transplant, the fibres would definitely give a full head of hair look, including the crown area.
Yeah it's not healthy to get a transplant and then be faffing about with go fibre. If you are maybe it's time to accept balding and just shave. Transplant is a last resort, once you've done it you gotta be happy or shave to keep your mental health well
Looks great to me and I will be very happy if mine turns out that thick. I am 61 and had the transplant 4 days ago. In Turkey. Although! I did bang my head as I got into the taxi outside the hospital, probably lost a few hundred at that point.
Still looks way better than it did mate. I'd be tempted to go back for a 2nd, maybe go for DHI. Think it will look really good then. You still got plenty of donor left.
@@AngusMcGregor have you thought about suppressing DHT with more natural remedies like saw palmetto or pumpkin seed oils? I read some people saying that the hair transplant is immune to DHT , but some others say it isn't... so I am not sure what to believe.
I think if you go for another one , it's gonna look a whole lot better , since you don't bother with a heavy beard or facial hair, why not use those grafts to pump up the density ?
You always have to consider that when you get 1 hair transplant you're supposed to get another one afterwards depending how progressive your balding was, if you got another one you could add density and lower the hairline even further
So you are saying you didn't see any change after 6 months post op?? damn, I'm 6 months post op from my surgery, and it's not looking the best to be honest, not really encouraging to hear that u didn't see any more growth. My doc said I should see about 20-30% more growth... which will be satisfactory for me
It's amazing!!! looks natural. the crown looks like it should. If u want 100% natural looking.... u WON. The point is to look like your age. Too many people try to get the hair line of a 20 year old. That is wrong for a 40+ year old male.
I’m 11 months since I had it done and I’m happy with the front, not so much the back though. My question is Angus..... are you going back (when we’re allowed) for round 2?
I really hope i will find somebody someday who will say the same about me. Since I´m bald (at age 24) my confidence has gone down the hill. Anyhow, although your comment wasnt directed towards me, it gave me hope though, thanks.
Earl 100%. Most people do not take hair into consideration when falling for someone, I know I don’t nor do all of my friends. As long as you pick up that self esteem and realize it’s you and not “ the hair” that will attract, never has been. I have friends who shave purposely because the look is awesome.❤️
@@mordyfriedman5647 FUT maximizes the use of grafts since it has a lower transection rate. Plus not all grafts from FUE grow. So, if you have low donor supply you have to go the FUT way.
Inf7cted if you want to maximize donor supply and cover a large bald area FUT is better. FUE is for smaller procedures and the quality of the hair also needs to be considered. I have thin hair and FUE is out of the question for me. FUT/FUE are combined when you use all of your donor supply. When you maximized FUT then you might be able to get 1-1.5k grafts via FUE.
get on finesaride if not already that should help the crown and the hair overall. and maybe use nano fibres for special Saturday night 'cover ups' (oh wait theres not going to be any nights out now)
It looks pretty good to me your hair transplant. To improve even more density have you ever considered derma roller or Micro needling with adding some regaine.
I think your hair looks great. It definitely seemed as if it was a long process, but you forged ahead and did exactly what you were instructed to do. Your hair is growing in very well and looks great. The process looked very painful in the beginning, so I give you a lot of credit for continuing on with the entire process. The individuals who are mocking you and making snarky comments are total idiots. They're just being rude. I think you are a very handsome man!!
Do you feel like you might do another hair transplant to get more coverage on the crown and a fuller hairline or are you happy with the results of this first one after the healing process?
Looks good , appropriate for someone your age . Use a bit of topik for the crown . Totally don’t recommend getting another one done . Move on with your life and forget about it ..
Hey mate: I understand completely your desire to have more hair. I was just going to say though that on your first video, where you had your head shaved, it actually suited you. It's all down to how you feel about yourself, but if you ever decided just to be done with the upkeep, you'd look fine with a head shave. I also used to dye my hair, but stopped when I got fed up with the process. I actually look better grey....it just suits my complexion. I think you would too. It depends on your skin colour. Still, be happy in yourself. Good luck.
Ha. Ha. Ha. there is no single button on the body that if we press we can be happy. Happiness comes from the inside. No one can give it you. You have to feel it from inside. After losing my hair, I still had the same number of friends the same way others looked at me. I simply couldn't feel happy no matter how I tried to convince myself. "it does not matter". So everyone is different.
Personally I think it looks good - you look better with some hair than with a shaved head. As other have said, age appropriate. And you keep lean and have a bit of muscle on you so you're obviously in good health too. Good on ya.
Hey. If you don't mind me asking, how much was rge 3800 grafts? Im getting quotes from them, but just wondering if it costs the same... Ish? TIA Subscriber 😁
Cristoforo Marsella Hi . It cost me £3300 for 3800 grafts. That included transfers from and to the airport and to the hospital and 2 nights in a hotel. All I needed to buy was the flights.
Looks really good - I would "guess" that whatever hair you started with - probably has been falling out all along. The hair that is there is transplant hair.
Edit name No. I wanted to avoid taking any sort of drugs . That’s why I had a hair transplant so I didn’t have to take any drugs. I know some people take Finasteride to avoid any further hair loss that I didn’t have much hair there in the first place so I didn’t think I needed to.
My result is very similar to yours I'm fairly happy and it definitely has made a good difference. Overall happy that I did it even though I didnt quite achieve the density I was hoping for.
Looking good Angus! I would never have thought you had a transplant. I’m coming close to 8 months and still dreaming of improvement in months to come 😁
I watched all your videos and trust me the end result is so worth it you really look great, if anyone says different they are either jealous or just nasty. You look really handsome and your hair looks 100% natural, never guess you had a transplant. excellent result, well done.
Why do you say 1 month after you cannot sweat or exercise, that is false. After 10 days sweating is fine. After 2 weeks you can lift weights again. Also, have to watch out in Turkey getting these transplants done, very few are qualified, and even fewer use actual doctors. I would recommend DHI group in Greece or UK. The doctors actually perform the surgery not the techs.
Mike Ford That’s the advice I was given. The clinic I used is a combined clinic. The Doctor (Dr Tayfun) who did the first part of the procedure and oversaw the whole procedure is very highly qualified so much so he teaches other doctors.
Angus McGregor well i know that the month of laying low is what is deferring you from undergoing another transplant. For sweating purposes you should be good after 10 days. I've also had a transplant and followed this logic. Mine turned out great. I was doing heavy gym weights after 10 days. Sweating every day like crazy. My doctors gave me this advise. Just FYI.
I have seen ur 1 year and 2 year but its seems like you lost ground since the 1 year . Ur hair look much thinner then 1 year mark. Kinda sad that it didnt worked out
If it was me ,i would ask the question. How much better can they get it. All so , ask some other clinics (good ones) to get a second opinion .but be careful of them as they may just be looking for work and not be think of your best interest. Good luck.
