hidden treasure??? Pirate danny must be so excited. How fun is that!!!!! We love to see all this exploring. My little place doesn't have area left for me to explore. I am jealous!... have fun on your adventure.
Morning!!! Continue to pray for the victims in hurricane areas !!! Pinball has been doing a great job !!! Loved the safari adventure!!! It's always fun exploring a new property & what you discover !!!
Wanda I keep a photo file on my phone labeled “Ents”. I have several pictures of trees either growing exact opposite of each other, same bends and twists and several when they grow together. And like Danny said … GOD never ceases to amaze me All the praise and glory goes to Him. 🙌🏼
Danny in our 100 acres we have cedar the same size white pine bigger and black cherry just as big plus other trees I love old trees like that there is history with these old trees
Nature's surprises are always the best. If you let her she will lead you to her secret beauties. A walk within, shares wellness. I so miss my ability to walk in such areas, thanks for sharing.
I think your property is so beautiful! I grew up in Idaho and could never handle your heat and humidity. I love watching you progress with developing your beautiful land.
Yes a lovely walking path through there and clean up the creek a bit....what a nice escape to enjoy guys. ;) Blessings you didn't know you had! More places to stop and chat with the Lord about His goodness to you.
Good morning! Thanks for sharing another beautiful hidden treasure on your property. Poplars love water, or that’s what we’ve discovered on our property in NE Ga.
This is super exciting! I love seeing the smile & joy this brought to y'all! I am so glad you shared this video. It reminds me of my childhood where my dad & I walked the woods every year. I am so glad God has blessed the two of you & I pray He continues to bless y'all & your farm.
What a beautiful clear morning! Those are some big trees! What a surprise treasure God has blessed you both! Blessings! Be careful Wanda! I don’t like snakes as well! Beautiful land Danny and Wanda! So happy for you both!❤
I’m not terribly fond of snakes either, but only one ever threatened me, and it is dead from a pulped head. I was no more than three, and my dad dealt with it. I’ve had to walk through sunbathing copperheads on a path through a pond, and not one of them even flickered a tongue while I was passing through, but they all disappeared into the water as soon as I got past them. 🙏
What a find !!! As dry as it is and that's a spring feeding that☺️♥️ surprised y'all didn't come across a snake because of the water......you could put an oak spring box in for an emergency water source😊
Watched some man metal-detecting the other day. This Winter y’all might want to scan your grounds? That would be fun to do together & you could find something valuable underground. Congrats on finding a fresh water spring !!
Hi Danny and Wanda. Look at those whopper trees. Amazing! So cool you have a stream right there too. What amazing finds and treasures you've found. God has so blessed you both. Thanks for sharing your newly discovered treasures
Hidden gems. What beautiful trees. And all the years they have seen so much if they could talk. And such a blessing to know you have water if needed. I want to know what is living in the hole. Hope to see video.
The old trees do show and tell their stories to those with eyes that see, ears that hear, and a mind that understands. All Nature sings His praise, but our perceptions are limited.
I love this video. My husband and I were out exploring our woods last week. Found some wild grape vines 4” thick. Can’t wait to see if they are still producing. He was cutting trails so we could have access to areas on our land we haven’t seen. One question…do y’all have ticks?
Good day Mr. Danny and Ms. Wanda. Just the look on yawls face seeing these new areas is great. Like kids finding the easter eggs. Favorite thing to do in the fall is walk our property looking for things I have not seen. Y'all have a blessed day.
How beautiful! I know that look in Dannys eyes as he's...well...awe struck and just blessed by the beauty of those big, old trees. I too just absolutely love these giants...its hard to describe how big old trees make me feel....i have to touch them....they bring me peace and make me content. God bless you both 💖🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Without seeing the leaves of those big trees, I can’t be certain. But the trunk, and bark looks like they might be tulip poplar trees. They do get huge!
Nothing like exploring in the woods!! I haven't really done that since i was a child and i loved it so much. I'd get in to trouble all the time because I'd be gone all day and they'd be looking for me. I was always home by suppertime so my child mind couldn't understand why they'd be looking for me. Most of the time I'd find a tree over a crick that was fallen and just daydream and enjoy!
Holy smokes! Those are some very large trees! The best find ever to find water on your property!! I would be diggin me a swimming or bathing spot just in case you need it. Congrats! Wanda I sure hope you’ve got good sturdy boots on! I’m scared of those snakes too!! I’m glad he found this spot! He eyes are shinning bright with happiness!
You need a drone to explore! Likely the huge tree trunks at ground level are excellent places to look for Morel mushrooms next Spring after it rains. And they would be the perfect place to spread spawn for gourmet Chanterelles! I had a thought . . . those pieces of metal tin may have been from somebody running a hidden still and creating moonshine??? LOL Always a joy to find a hidden spring somewhere!
That crisscross bark looks like elm to me. You'll have to go a little slower & closer for me to id it for you, or maybe pick up some leaves for me. Idk, does that biggest tree have crisscross bark, gray brown on top ridges & orange in the crevasses?
@mariatorres9789 Yeah those get huge and weeping willows which are obvious with hanging branches and you don't want those anywhere near wiring, pipes houses etc. Those roots can go under roads, across yards and affect another's house, etc. with the willows. Dummy across the street planted one about 10 feet from their house and I warned them. A few years later they had to tear up the whole yard for a new foundation. They need to be far from anything.
Nature takes over pretty quick when things are left wild. I had a spell where I quit chickens for awhile, and when I started up again, I went back to the end of the property to check on the coop condition and I was shocked how fast things had grown up. Wild briars had climbed up over and around the whole coop. young trees sprouted up too. It took quite alot of work to clear everything out to expand my runs and do any repairs. A groundhog had moved in too, but my Shepherd took care of her right quick. That big ole tree must be a couple hundred years old, quite the massive specimen. Trees will all lean towards the sunlight, wherever they are.
