The hero shooter aspect is really just "What wacky third gadget I want"... gadgets that would have probably been in the game regardless

Wrongest thing they ever did to be honest, to make it worse the A.I soldiers get actual soldier models lol. I love the game now though and enjoyed it when it was a REAL hot mess, but if there is a Battlefield 6 they NEED to ditch the operators

Personally. I liked the game. Got a good 200 hours out of it. But I totally understand why people don’t.

@@georgewhitworth9742 It just happens to be my kind of game. Always liked fast paced games with tight gunplay. Know it’s not what battlefield is known for, hence the community backlash, but it happens to be what I like, and having played many an early access indie game, I’ve never cared about bugs.

Same, but I stopped after Hardline, bought BF1 when the revolution edition was on sale, bought BFV when it was cheap after release and bailed again. BFV was like this, just that they somehow fixed it, just to make it worse again, then fixed it again, then broke it again, then finally fixed it and then abandoned it too early once it was actually on a good way. When this one came out in the state it was, I knew there was no way EA could get it right.

BF 1 was the last good one. Since then I lost hope in the franchise as well...

@@Far1988 I pre-ordered BFV with whatever pre order stuff they gave out and played around 30 hours before never playing again! Waste of more than $100 on the pre order!! I wasn't even playing when they announced they were stopping the roadmap and moving on to 2042, but that's what pissed me off the most! They made all these promises pre game that they probably knew they were never going to accomplish! But hey, they got my $100 so why do they care??

Or maybe just play them for yourself and make your own assumptions rather than listening to everything people tell you on the Internet. I swear humanity is devolving into a weird hivemind of brainless consumers.

@@GojiraBiscuits. Is it free to play? last i heard its not. Being a brainless consumer works both ways, the reason why companies keep making trash is because brainless consumers buy it anyway. Buying a game that most consider broken or bad just to try to for yourself isn't good argument even if you have cash to burn. Sure don't take one persons opinion as fact but i've always been against things like pre ordering or buying games out of loyalty. If bad games didn't do well companies would have to make good games instead of making one every year because they know people will buy it even if it doesn't really add anything or is broken.

As if we didn't also have issues with identifying classes in prior BF titles which had identifiable uniforms. BF1 heavily comes to mind, and even in titles like BF3 and 4 people would constantly fire on friendlies that ran past them because they couldn't tell who was on which team.

EA screwed up a long time ago

EA and DICE screwed up BFV from the start after they insulted their fans for not liking their awful revisionist take of WW2. If they just did what we wanted from the start, BFV would've been so much better and not have to try and win their fans back after a year or so.

Same here. I don't have any of these issues. Game runs smooth but is it perfect, no. Show me a game that is. I enjoy BF2042 and I've been playing BF every weekend with the same bunch of guys since 2003.

Nah i used to play all the time but since they sold the game to another company it's gone way down hill. The game just flat out doesn't load for me anymore
