What a "BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY"!! Love everything about your locs, I have 62 and I love how thick they are, I'm 1yr and 4 months in, I can't wait to see how they continue to transform. ❤❤
It feels so weird to see them get longer. They are touching my shoulders already but I still have some time to go before they get the length I want. Yes, trust the process😜
Yasss🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾 love this. I've definitely been preparing my hair for locs and I'm definitely starting with two strand twists. Thanks for sharing 💯 new subbie
I love that we are locking our hair now its just so beautiful & natural Good for us so we dnt have to give those people our hard working money anymore with those damn weaves lol no more making money off of us anymore our hair is so damn beautiful & versatile & no one can take that away from us we have the best damn hair in the world 🌎
You are absolutely beautiful! Where did you get the loc jewelry? Specifically the little gold bead on the ends? I start my journey in 6/22 a few weeks before my first baby 🥳.
Your locs look amazing! I myself started with 2 strand twist but only at 7 months atm. I see that you combined a few, can you speak on why you did that? My assumption is you wanted your locs to be around the same thickness, I know I do lol
Thank you so much!!! And yes I did, I did a couple videos on how I combined and I need to do an updated one. I combined the locs that were way skinnier than the other to make them around the same thickness! 😉
Thank you!!! and they are called cowrie shells! I pretty much put the ends of my hair through the hole in the middle. I have a video on my channel on how I install loc jewelry for a more in-depth visual! Hope this helps!
Did you interlock with crotchet at the beginning when they were still twists or did you just palm roll during installation/ first retwist??? Also after how long do you retwist, I’m starting with one week old twists
I actually just combed out one of my locs and then installed lock it with the other to create one loc. I did this about a month ago so my locs are super mature now but I definitely with I would have combined way earlier. It would have been easier for sure but I didn’t know I wanted to coming back then. I def say do it now if you want to while you’re still early in the journey!
@@NaomiOnlae with the crochet tool? That’s a good method. Just make sure the scalp size foundation matches the thickness of the lock. I’ve seen people combine semi mature locks and the part size is still small compared to the bottom. If that makes sense. ❤️❤️❤️
Yup! That definitely makes sense! I used the tool at the ends but I tried a new method just today of taking one lol down and then combining them that way.
Hang in there on the unravelling! you might be able to still palm roll to get those flat one to a more cylindrical shape while they're still young too! They don't bother me as much as they used to but I still have those same flat ones in the back now.
