Assalamu 3laykum Brother, hear me out there is something that needs to be adressed (the elephant in the room). I'm mainly going to talk about men because I'm a man. Ok, us men we hit puberty around 13 years old, we develope a profound attraction for women and sexual desires. What are we supposed to do wth these feeling. When is a man supposed to get married? Should he fast a few days a week until he is 25 years old? There is a huge hypocrisie amoung us muslims. Let me explaine, our parents expect us to get married at around 25-30 (when we are settle with job house ect...) This way of thinking is taken from the non muslims. It suits them because at around 15, 16 ect.. they are in relationships and doing everything a husband and wife do together .ie having intercouse, spending time together ect.. And our young muslim know that these things are wrong but they live in a hyper sexualised sociaty. Since the sexual desires are do strong in men and are awakened by looking this makes life just more difficult. Thus offcourse leads to masturbation, pornography ect... And also haram relationships since the men know they can't get married any time soons, so they just talk with women at first nothing flirty but just yo help them dezl with the frustration, the eventually it leads to zina visiting prositues ect... And finally Jahannam. Getting married cost 30000£, and having a girlfriend cost 2 cinema tickets and popcorns, what have we done to the deen of Allah. WHY ARE PARENTS OBLIVIOUS TO THIS?? Sorry for the super long comment.
Bro I am in agreement with you. But what is our solution practically speaking. This epidemic of pornography has consumed alot of the muslim youth as it the only way for them to express their desires as they know marriage is something that is far away and distant and they have no mechanism to deal with all this excess energy. Not to mention like you said this hyper sexualised society pushes people into things like pornography and the objectification of women. This is the reality. But what can we do practically i don’t know brother

As an Umma and I am only talking about somalis since I am, we are not practicing the deen right, we are sining and committing prohibitive actions on a daily basis, and that has consequences. Allah said: “And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned.” Meaning the sins are the reasons for hardships. Difficulty of marriage is juts one the calamity we are facing due to our actions. So, the only solution is to stop sinning and repent to Allah and make duaa your weapon. Prophet said in an authentic Hadith: nothing repels the Qadar(divine decree) except the duaa’.
