@Bella Monroe --It's her articulation in ADDITION to her ability to reason. I'm judging by the substance of many of her responses as well. However, VERBAL intelligence is indeed a thing (google it). There are different types of intelligences. Not saying that she makes all of the right decisions (20 year-olds rarely do), but she seems sharp. Also, I've been around intelligent, high achieving people my whole life, starting with my own parents who were lawyers/judges. As a result, I think I'm a pretty good judge of intelligence. I know the difference between people who just enunciate their words well and people who are analytical in their thinking. But all in all, I don't limit necessarily limit my view of intelligence to one particular ability or another.

I homeschooled my daughter starting at 5TH grade and she was way ahead of normal kids but soon as I felt like she needed a social life, she started smoking vapes and weed pens in the school bathroom. The worst decision we made. If we would’ve kept her home she would’ve never felt the need to fit in 🤦🏽♂️
You can keep your kids home for as long as you can but as long as they live in the real world .. they will experience real life . some things are beyond your control and it is healthy for kids to have social experiences because it will save them in the long run .

I chose not to date in my 20s out of fear that I'd have an unplanned pregnancy even ON birth control. At 29, I do not regret my situation. I see so many young women barely out of their teens with babies on their hips, and I would be one BITTER bitch if that were me.

Ok! I generally like to see Marcus' interview to see what is going on in the world with others. But why is it so important for Marcus to know if anything ever happened to her when she was little? For this interview, he may be too intrusive and too detailed. This young lady is very smart, and she is finding her way with her child. That's more important today. He should tread carefully. She is a very sweet, intelligent, and concious young sister. I can see that her parents made good efforts to ensure she was raised up bright and RIGHT. Her initial response to an earlier question was" WHAT IS NORMAL?" And I believe it is not because she did not understand what normal is, but because normalcy does not exist in Black American culture. Everybody is not reading from the same level and from the same page nor the same book. They knew exactly what they were doing from far back as Buckbreaking Slavery, they knew that there would be some that carried it from the plantations and spread it subtly, in secret from generation until generations to come.
