One of my all time favorite apps was RU-vid vanced but its unfortunately been discontinued it would be great if you could cover some alternatives to it
Vanced definitely was a must have, shame it finally kicked the bucket. Hopefully, whatever new app is being developed in replacement will be able to do what vanced did before it fully dies out.
Maybe Google will surprise Pixel owners with the final release of A13 by supporting icon packs in the Pixel Launcher and a larger grid option. I've tried all the major Launcher's on my P6 and none are as fast or fluid as the Pixel launcher so I've kept to using it even though its customisation options are very limited.
@@topjii LOL, stock does mean simple if you have other ways of adding features. But if you don't allow third-parties to customize your OS then you must implement most features on your OS like windows does
A13 still hasn't implemented a larger home screen grid than 5x5. But any other screen it's 6x5 (which I think was always there). Wish they'd scrunch the icons up closer together more like apple - such a large screen and can only do 5x5/6x5 max?
I'm definitely dowloading BRING. Fun fact I've actually found that when I use an auto ad-skipping app, RU-vid will only give unskippable 15 second ads. Which, to be honest, is even more annoying than skipping a 5 second one.
To replace RU-vid Vanced, I use Brave Browser. It blocks ads, you can use your RU-vid account and you can listen on the background (you have to activate it on the settings).
Hey Sam! I don't know if this will reach you, but can you do a video for Microsoft launcher?, it's not as customisable but it's still really good, like 1. Dock feature , basically app drawer but with only a few selected apps (we can make folders too) 2. widget page in the left-most page 3. Ability to save wallpapers and not have to keep the wallpaper in your phone and like other launchers it has some similar features like , icon size, disable/enable labels, sub grids, etc I used your tutorials to make a custom home screen on Microsoft launcher and it looks really clean!

EDGE GESTURES is so handy, it works better with 3rd party launcher than system gestures and there's an amazing amount of customisation with it,,, anything you want, it has a new feature that lets you switch between all recent apps like a task manager, its my most useful app ever
And Power Shortcuts has more functionality than Shortcut Maker (never tried SM). You can add shortcuts into Edge Gestures. When you open the shortcut, power shortcuts you can create a shortcut right then for edge gestures.
Solid explorer also I use always and the first app I install for a new phone or newly formatted one. Woks super great especially for OTG devices I connect.
I've been struggling to get Google weather to work on my Pixel 6 Pro. Every search I've done, haven't been able to add it to the home screen by the methods they used. But after clicking on the hourly,humidity, more - they've actually added the "Add Home Screen" option in your Google Account Management icon. I've been trying a few simpler note taking apps on Android since coming over from iOS. One I've come across (and more options for simple notes THAN SimpleNotes) is Zono Notebook. It has the ability for more text options, add images, sketches, It's free and sync pretty fast (also tells you if there's a problem if both versions change simultaneously). Bonus that it works on every platform including Linux. So I can type notes up on Windows or Linux and they're there on the android. Has a couple weird sync issues but I'm sure that will get fixed in time.
actually, one ui does support icon pack customization with the use of good lock and theme park. Honestly, it is one of the best implementations of the icon pack feature, with the only fault being that the icons look very pixelated when they are applied, but don't look pixelated when actually applied. It is a bizarre bug, but one that I look past because they finally allowed for icon packs, and you can individually swap icons!!!
@@HIMANSHUSINGH-ly8im np, just try to use the highest resolution icons and shrink it a ll and that should do the trick, bc ur eyes can't pick up the pixelation when it's actually an applied icon
Skip Ad is ok but it doesn't Mute the Ad's anymore it used to but for some reason I guess they had to take that feature away probably because of Google Play Store rule's or something and the app hasn't been Updated since 2009 I think it's been abandoned so I use a AutoMate Flow to Skip and Mute the Ad's it definitely work's much better.
The skip ads link isn't working, I thought it might be as this could be an older video, but it's not. Anyone got another link for it or maybe their github page?
I like this series but there's some app which u should suggest instead which u do ... U suggest skip ad .. u could say yt vanced instead .... and relay for reddit instead of boost
