What's lacking in this video is someone who can pronounce the food and name of restaurants properly or at least has some idea of the food trying to described.
Most of the food shown here is well presented, look delicious, most are family run, the recipes passed down through generations, not overly expensive, I have tried most if not all, it would be nice if someone helps with the pronunciation, still your selections are great, ended with typical sweet sticky rice accompanied by mellow sweet ripe mangoes or custards. The Thai or Chinese foods are the most preferent, these have significant benefit as economic link for the average earners. A win/win situation.
On her vlog, a Korean RU-vidr stated that the famous Michelin crab omelette was not worth the 1.5-hour wait. Her video quickly went viral on the web. I've never tried it because it's too expensive for me, but it's become a must-try menu for tourists visiting Bangkok.
I think Thai style omelette with crab should be eaten with tom yum Kong and rice . Only omelette is just not worth waiting . We paired omelette with other dishes like tomyum , stir fry vegetables , fried rice, ham prik ( spicy sauce varieties ) etc.
For me, Jay Fai is a pure street food legend, no doubt. And it is worth trying her food in this life time :) last time that I visited, a table reservation is not available anymore. Anyway I feel happy to see these kind of comments, so next time it will be easier to get a table.
The mispronunciations make this hard to watch. Please stop using computer generated commentary. It's very disrespectful to mispronounce places and names.
jay fai is overrated with rude customer service lol. We brought a 1/2 drank bottle of water in after waiting for hours, and was told that it's not allowed. Jeh O Chula however, is cheap, delicious and was probably the best meal i've had in Thailand
This restaurant is very famous. There are clips to watch around the world. The name of the shop is Jay Fai. The word Jay = sister and Fai =the word mole = birthmark or mole on her face. She must be very old. If you have a chance, you should try to taste it.
If you going to say it doesn’t taste as good then remove from your list. Don’t force yourself to half praise the dish. I feel a lot of half praise on the item
it is bad enough that english speakers cannot say the words properly... now letting a computer say the these is a nightmare to my ears. Thai is my first language and english is my second. I am fluent in both languages. The cringe of it all to hear the narrator butcher all the Thai words.
Thailand Guide, you are totally pronouncing this worldwide Guide incorrectly. Mee shi lynn. NOT My shi lynn. Watch any other video that talks about the Michelin guide or ratings. It's a French term. Meaning "i" vowel = a long eeee sound.
This video is stolen from various RU-vidrs' content. I recognize some of them, and I don't think it's right to steal someone else's hard work to create a video with terrible pronunciation of words by using AI generated voice.
Stealing content from other creators and adding an horrible ai voice over: i don't know if it's more useless, embarrassing or hateful 😆 i had to stop the video after very few minutes.
Dude, you not only butcher "Michelin" but the Thai pronunciation of food and storefronts. Nice informative video but please learn how to pronounce the Thai dishes!
