Another little tip about the Hotsprings is that the amount it heals is related to your game speed. It will actually heal you slower if you have it turned down. Turn it up to 100% to heal your stamina faster, then turn it back down to your preferred setting once you've healed enough.
These tips are so useful. I’ve been putting off getting the ultimate scarecrow as I hate the look of it so to learn that I can change the appearance of it to one of the reward ones I bought at the community centre is amazing!! Also the crayfish for the potluck rather than trying to find an osmium crop.

I'm like 20 some days into spring and I've found the best energy by far is potatoes. I've got close to 200 growing on my farm. Use them for energy as I need to while slowly turning them into pickled for even more stamina.
That's a smart way! I may try that with my next file :) I'm currently nearing the end of a 100 day challenge that I'll be posting on youtube sometime next month

I played Coral Island back in early access but just got so fed up with how much the devs kept nerfing anything that actually made money while also seriously raising prices across the board that I just put it down. There were so many aspects of the game that I liked but between that and the frustration of catching certain fish it was just too much. Have they finally balanced things? I’d like to try again, but I’m skeptical. Your video has peaked my interest though. 🙂
They have balanced stuff but they still need more gold sinks later on. There are a few things that are very imbalanced like Cactus mead sells for WAY WAY too much but it is locked behind B rank + all of the extra time needed for mead. Great tips. I wish the mini games weren’t so hard on controller though. I basically have to just skip them because some are just impossible to win. My game was so buggy I had nothing to put in the hot pot 2 years in a row. Getting to town rank B has been a real struggle with so many bugs. I still love the game though.
Agreed. They recently made it so if you tied with an NPC you'll still win instead of the villager winning + the cow festival is easier to win. Some nice steps and hopefully they'll keep their eyes open for more balancing :D

I heard it was a recent bug. They had a few hotfixes on steam so I hope it works now. I remember there were some memory leaks before they tried to fix it due to the computer accessing a bunch of assets at once and not properly closing after exiting the computer
I *really* wanted to watch this all the way through but the way you kept sayin Osium, instead of what (my) game calls it (OsMium) was really jarring. 😔

If someone came up to me with an offering of bug jerky after shrieking like a banshee I think I’d avoid them like the plague…to each their own though! 😂 Thanks for another great tip video! I love using explosives on my farm, it’s so helpful early game to clear out the farm without using precious stamina.
lmao! I would be so concerned but like.. "O-okay listen.. you can hold onto that and we can just grab a coffee?" haha. no problem!! It was fun to dive back into editing and try to remember everything. Bwahaha explosives to clear out our Coral Island farm early is so nice and therapeutic
The deep forest area has become a goddess send for me. I make more money selling artifacts than anything right now. Fishing helped early game though. I played early access so got to start with 800k coins, but most of that disappeared by Fall Year 1! XD The early access grind was real though. I didn't even know about spending merit points, so thanks for that. Also...I swear by sheds. You can put all the artisan machines in the sheds or decorate them with interior stuff (I use mine exclusively for the artisan machines though).

After seeing the performance reviews of Dreamlight Valley, and how the Switch doesn’t have the juice to fit the squeeze. I opted to just jump right into the mix and enjoy Coral Island on my laptop rn

Make sure you double check for a hotfix :) I just asked Mark to marry me on Twitch last night and it worked! They fixed a lot of the villagers on the steam version
Thank you so much for this. Ya girl is always broke in this game. I also want to decorate but I play on the Ps5 and the bugs are no joke. We can't even decorate our homes cause it wont allow us to. But beyond the many...many.....many bugs lol I really love this game.

LOL the bug jerky thing I totally get! It's an easy gift and works together with us needing to have stamina but.. it feels so weird to do it xD You are so welcome!! I was a bit nervous to go back to editing since it's been a bit but I tried to remember everything and felt good to release it. I wish they updated the controls on the pumpkin smashing minigame.. it just doesn't auto-target even if you are basically on the right tile / angle

thanks for this. i feel im doing well, got most of the upgrades and have a lot of coins but ive learnt a few things. i never knew i could change the scarecrows and i still have the level 1 sprinklers that i need to get upgraded.

You also overlooked a massive benefit of the sturdy computer. If you zoom in when using the bug screen, it tells you precisely what's present and where. Not just a menu that shows probably spawns. But the actual spawns for that day.
