I was struggling alot. And I got interested in this video. I'm 13 and trying to work with a relashionship with God. Thanks for this. I'm excited for reading these books
Ah, I hope you're doing okay Mary. It's great that you are making the effort to get into some good books. You are being very wise to nurture your spirit from such a young age. Years later, you will look back and be pleased that you took time to invest in your future. I wish you all the best! ☺️
I’m so glad you’re seeking God as a young person! Feeling like you have to “work” at it, though, is like trying to pay someone back for a Ferrari who gifted it to you. By scraping, sweating, and giving them a crumpled dollar every month. He’s given you a gift, and as you live in the Holy Spirit you’ll find truth, peace, and everything you need.
May GOD bless you in your journey. It’s not going to be easy at times. The enemy isn’t going to give up. But GOD won’t ether, and once you have let HIM in your heart. GOD will NEVER stop working in your life. What a wonderful age you are to start working in the best and most important relationships. You can’t go wrong with GOD.
Wow wr have a lot in common I'm also 13 I have been a christian for almost 2 years and yeah I also want my relationship to be better with God it's not easy with none believing friends so yeah
Do you have any idea which of those written in modern english is the best representation of the original? I have a quite hard time reading the original.
The Spiritual Man by Watchman Nee is the second best in my opinion. 1.Bible (no need to say this is Undebatetable- it's clear for everyone) 2. The Spiritual Man by Watchman Nee. 3. The Pilgrim Progress.

I've been blessed to have read 8 of your 20. 7 in prison facing 25 to life for DWI # 6. I did only two years and Jesus set me free in prison. Free from sin. Lately I have been listening to some I read back then while working. Watchman Nee , Andrew Murray Charles, my favorites. The normal Christian life had a major impact on my life. I've been out for 7 years and have over nine years clean. I'm not an addict. Set free in deed. New creation. Victory over Darkness and bondage breaker by Neil Anderson are a must read for those who still struggle with addiction. We gotta know who God said we are.

Hello... I'm hoping you've started reading! Seeing your dp I guess you're a fan of Marvel and DC and I'm too... I get ur interest to expand your knowledge on Jesus, I'm a Christian and still I feel I've gotta learn so much about him.... You believe Jesus to be a prophet and I totally understand where you get it from. Questioning is as important as believing. I'm already happy that you acknowledge there's a higher power and the life on Earth doesn't cease our existence and there's more to our existence because He who made us is more than just what's on Earth. Hope you have a great time reading whichever book have picked.. If u have time and interest after reading these I wud suggest you a great read by Dr. Nabeel Qureshi "Seeking Allah finding Jesus"
Thank you for this word. It was much needed today. You see, my sweet precious mother is transitioning to pass away with several health issues. It has been a very long 15 year battle and my Mother is a TRUE WARRIOR!! She has told God that she is waiting on Him to come hold her hand and lead her home. She has let go and is at peace now. Her fight has showed me strength that I have never known. I love her dearly and I will miss her but I will be happy when she steps over into Gods presence. I will sing of joy in my heart when she passes. Much love yo you.
Good morning. I love your videos, you are wonderful in love with God. Thank you for sh as re your life with God. I am Christian for 25 year ,I love God He is my strength every day. Be safe
Easily for over two hundred years Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan was the second most read book of all time, second only to The Bible. It has been translated in over 200 languages. Every christian household must own one and it is a must read for your children. You do have some of my favorite authors on you list. Thanks and God Bless you and yours!
this is amazing! i like reading and i love God so basically i can read these good books about God! Both of my favorite things!! This channel also helped me and im deciding to even make a Christian Channel!!
Hello Daniel, I have listened to Bill Wiese give his account of 23 mins in hell, and he really didn’t want to have to go around telling people.....but he was obedient to God and has witnessed to multiple people now! I have also just watched the movie Heaven’s For Real earlier this week, jaw droppingly good. 3/4 year olds are not capable of such deception!! Praise Jesus x
You have changed my life and changed my whole perspective of God and God's word cuz I accepting them in my heart and accept Jesus my Lord and Savior My Heart thank you so much and God bless your soul and bless your spirit

Bruchko by Bruce Olsen, Chasing the Dragon by Jackie Pullinger, The Cross and the Switchblade by David Wilkerson, Miracle of Miracles by Mina Nevisa, Destined to Reign by Joseph Prince, The Believer’s Authority by Kenneth Hagin
Thanks for sharing your List. I would add "Pigs in the Parlor" by Frank Hammond (LIFE CHANGING!!!), "He Came to Set the Captives Free" by Rebecca Brown, "A Divine Revelation of Hell" by Mary Baxter, "Lucifer Dethroned" by William Schoenbelen, and "Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis.
Thank you very much for these books. I am from India. I always love your videos very much. Every video is very helpful in christian life. I always stay eagerly in wait for your next videos. Thank you and Praise God.
Good list, good comprehensive variety. Over my forty years of study I’ve covered hundreds of books also and have favorites. However it depends on where you are at in your journey. I usually say my favorite book is the one I’m currently reading! Watchman Née books exite me most as does Major W Ian Thomas: The saving life of Christ and The Mystery of Godliness! A must have on anyone’s shelf!
The Shack, Blue Like Jazz, Wild At Heart, Screwtape Letters, The Final Quest by Rick Joyner, The Harbinger, A Tale of Three Kings, Pilgrims Progress, The Book of Enoch, just to name a few.
The 3 books from your list that I most love are: 1. Systematic Theology (Wayne Grudem). Now in its 2nd edition. This is the best popular systematic theology. My favorite systematic theology is John Frame's Systematic Theology. But Grudem was Frame's student and Grudem's Systematic Theology is better organized and more clearly written as an introduction to systematic theology. Frame's Systematic Theology is more intelligent with more theological and philosophical heft and depth, but it isn't as well organized as Grudem's is and it isn't as friendly to novices, though Frame writes quite clearly and sometimes almost conversationally but his style almost belies the profundity of his ideas. The best brief systematic theology in my mind is J.I. Packer's Concise Theology which is only like 200 pages in length with each theological topic occupying no more than a page or two. 2. The New Bible Commentary (Gordon Wenham, Alec Motyer, Don Carson, & Dick France, eds.). Make sure to get the latest edition. I think the New Bible Commentary is the best single volume evangelical Bible commentary there is. It's a bit dated, but still stellar. All of the commentators are solid scholars in their own right and many of them are even considered among the very best scholars on the biblical books they're commenting on. 3. Rediscovering Holiness (J.I. Packer). Almost anything by Packer is stellar. This is like a modern version of J.C. Ryle's classic Holiness, which was one of the most influential books in Packer's own life. For a more recent book on the same topic, Kevin DeYoung's The Hole in Our Holiness is solid too. Although I'd place other Packer books ahead of Rediscovering Holiness (e.g. Knowing God, Concise Theology, "Fundamentalism" and the Word of God, Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God).
Thank you sharing brother. I tend to focus more on theology proper books but I may take a look at some of the other books on your list. I have two books on your list. Blessings in Christ.
I just found this video, this was made last year but God works all the time! I have I don't have enough faith to be an atheist so I'm going back to finish it and hopefully find all the other ones.
My list in no order: Confessions by St. Augustine Mere Christianity from C.S. Lewis Dark Night of the Soul by St. John of the Cross Orthodoxy by G.K. Chesterton 7 Storey Mountain by Thomas Merton Life of Christ by Fulton Sheen
Currently reading Lee Strobel's Case for Chirst and i must say its quite a good read , i would real recommend it to anyone with an inquisitive mind . Im looking forward to reading systematic theology in due time.
Some interesting choices. Spurgeon and Andrew Murray are good ones. I personally would have Augustine, Calvin and many of the puritans in there. I dont think anything has been written since the turn of 20th Century that would make my list. I would add Matthew Henry's commentary on the whole Bible as an easy to read standard in that area.
The book, On Being A Christian, by Hans Kung (published in 1974) is one of my favorite Christian books. Thorough, comprehensive and rational it is a good companion to Kung’s book Does God Exist? An Answer for Today.
Soooo many amazing, and well written books to choose from....i wouldn't even know where to start. One of my personal favourites, is whats so amazing about grace by Philip Yancey, absolutely phenomenal book. No matter what christian books I read, everyone of them has something great to offer, and they so thought provoking every single time. But your right, as wonderful as they are, nothing comes close to our holy bible. Thank you for this Daniel. You have given me something to think about. God bless you and yours.
I wish can buy all that book huhu and I can translate to my language ,My people need to read but cant understand by engilsh.Oh God help me give me wisdom can read all that book.
I would suggest: “The Glory of Christ” - John Owen. “Holiness” - JC Ryle. “Keeping the Heart” - John Flavel “The Pursuit of God” - AW Tozer. “Being Born Again” - John Angell James. “The Life and Diary of David Brainerd”. All of “John Bunyan’s Works”. “Human Nature in its Fourfold State”. Thomas Boston to name a few “must reads…
Thank you, brother Daniel! Yes, nothing can beat God's word. Brother Daniel, how about the lost books of the Bible? The books that never made it in the Bible. I had so many questions for God through prayer, and that is how I discovered the lost books of the Bible. The verse Jeremiah 33:3 stuck to me for a week as I kept praying and seeking for answers. Jeremiah 33:3- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
I feel like I want all these books but I’m a kid I don’t have a job or any money 😅 I will ask my parents hopefully God blesses me with some of these books Love the video ❤️
Best Christian book I ever read is “100 Ways God Speaks to You.” Also, Anything by Derek Prince, “Church Shift” by Sunday Adelaja, and “15 Secrets of Prayer Warriors” by Robert Avila. Read those, and by the time you’re done, you’ll have a revived, invigorated, exciting relationship with God and the way you view life.
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 1 Peter 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Thanks for your Book list but very surprised C.S Lewis Mere Christianity is not mentioned as it’s a book that was published in 1952 and still touching people on their faith journeys. But still you have highlighted some great books . Brian from Dublin Ireland
Let me add 2 more precious books truly worth your time and money- by Erlo Stegen 'Revival amongst The Zulus' , by John Bunyan ' The Pilgrim's Progress'. Shalom
I came here for one book but it’s only half way through video I want all the books I have seen them till not, I think they’re soo necessary! I will buy all of them one by one!
for anyone looking for more that aren’t on here... 1) The Pursuit of God by AW Tozer 2) Crazy Love by Francis Chan 3) Bruchko 4) Dont Waste Your Life by John Piper 5) not a fan. by Kyle Idleman
Welcome to Bible study. , to the daily verse of the Bible. Because the word of God is alive and effective, and sharper than any two-edged sword; and penetrates to the soul and the spirit, the joints and the marrow, and discerns the thoughts and the intentions of the heart. Hebrews, chapter 4- v 12. God bless you . And have a nice day, thank you very much.
Yes brother, if you want just to have a God fearing righteous life then yes Bible is more than enough. If some unbelievers questions your faith or evidence or proof or anything then you need to answer them with facts and defend your faith as Paul said. I basically think every Christian must have basic good knowledge on why they believe in God without referencing to Bible. And what makes the Christian God unique from all other religions. We believers all need to have good foundation to have a strong faith and reasonable points on our world view! Bless you
Missed out of true classics like The Divine Comedy, Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan, The Way of the Pilgrim, Mere Christianity, The Hiding Place, The Cloud of Unknowing, The Cost of Discipleship, Orthodoxy (Ware), Chronicles of Narnia, The Eternal Man/Chesterton, The Five Love Languages, Dark Night of the Soul.
