We lived in Italy for several years. All.our visitors wanted to spend time in the Vatican. The catacombs do give up an evil feelings. But the Pope's buried beneath the church are filled with love an serenity...Most days nuns are heard singing...

The Vatican doesn't have the Codex Gigas. It has been in Sweden since 1648 and is kept in the royal library in Stockholm.

The Vatican Time Machine spoken of here is known as the Chronovisor. It does not allow you to travel through time per se, but to observe both past and future events. Anytime, anywhere. This is why I want to go to Italy, well the Vatican and the Coliseum. Most people think its a holly place but in my opinion, the Vatican is a place of evil and would be a heck of an experience being that close to something so evil, its the equivalence to going to Israel to be close to where Jesus once was, its something so pure vs something man made (evil)
