He has given us Satriya dance form. If you want to talk about famous Satrya dancer and guru. You can talk about Pandit Jatin Goswami.

Kumari Kamala also known as Kamala Lakshman is an extraordinary Bharatanatyam dancer, as well. She even became a renowned teacher of the Vazhuvoor style ( one of the original styles of Bharatanatyam), in which she specialises. So, I consider that your presentation is incomplete and highly unfair.

I think Kumari Kamala was bharatanatyam not kathak from the vids I saw. The only dance style I dislike are khattakali and mohinanatyam. Doesn't do anything for me.

This itself shows u are not well informed... She was trained both in kathak and bhartnatyam.. And well regarding mohiniyaattam and Kathakali u will not understand a thing untillu understand the story... They r both mostly abhinaya based classical forms...and since the lyrics of songs are mix of old Malayalam it's hard to understand... U don't like them doesn't mean they are not good enough... Keep out

@@trufan100 i never said they were not good, its a free world and I am allowed to express my preferences. There is nothing to indicate she has trained in either kathak and bharatanatyam . anyway it is not the dancer i am talking about just the dance she is doing that does nothing for me and I keep out, I switch the channel or vid whenever I see the dance form name.
