Plus recent class members from 2015-19: Kamala Harris (CA) Cindy Hyde Smith (MISS) Tina Smith (MN) Catherine Cortez (NV) Maggie Hassan (NH) Joni Ernst (IA) Shelly Capito (WV) Tammy Duckworth (IL) And now the successor of both late John McCain and Jon Kyl; former US Air Force Pilot Martha Mcsally (AZ, R)
Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) was appointed by Brian Kemp, in early 2020, then lost re-election a year later in 2021. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) was the only new female senator elected in 2020.
It was good to have an interview with all 20 women Senators, but i wouldnt rank it as powerful. Unless you consider the individual and collective power of the 20 Senators have in Congress. However, there are three things that I express concern about: 1-Do they think it's fair to inject the fact that they are women, as a reason on why they should be elected or reelected to the Senate? 2-Is there any subject in the US Senate that a male Senator is better suited to handle? 3-Which one of the 20 would they rank as the best female US Senator? Which male Senator would they express as the "most open to womens issues" or as a "role model" for all Senators, regardless of race? I'd like to see more substance in the interview, such as what is the biggest accomplishment that certain Senators are proud of. Or maybe what historical statistic, besides the number of women in the Senate, should women be proud of...such as the first woman to cast 18,000 votes in the Senate... Its one thing to talk about the achievements of female Senators, but a "interview with real substance" would express topics on the best subjects, where men and women Senators can work together..or a subject that "Male Senators are better at".
The interviewer asked „Is there a President in this room?“ ... interestingly, there was a Vice President present in that room (and nobody knew about it at that time).
@@claytoncroom6815 I have just seen that I confused one of the Senators for Kamala Harris. Well, at least some of them tried to win the nominations (especially Ms Warren and Ms Klobuchar).
not just for any women. just this particular group because it's extremely bi-partisan. If you're a left or a right winger, you're a follower not a leader.
You referring to her little nest in Santa Monica? I know your type, and you're right. She's a CCW permit holder in a state that she helped to become notorious for being exceptionally difficult to attain a permit for the common deserving person - who actually thinks she can make everyone the identical little clones carrying the same little 10-round magazines that she envisions that little daydream of hers. She has no business leading such a charge against 2A By the way, I voted for Emken
That scene from Billy Madison enters my mind once reading your drivel induced, hysterically misrepresenting nonsense...the fact it's top rated surely emphasizes a blight on youtube's community
Gillibrand would definitely win and she would be a great president I think she should have been Biden running mate in 2020 she is better than Harris Gillibrand 2028
@@diedonner299 Gillibrand didn’t get to the primaries cause she withdrew to early because Biden asked her and she decide to withdraw it was obvious that Biden would be the nominee so Gillibrand was more inteligente than all the other candidates
@@Johnpolitics12 proof? If he asked her she would have been the VP, not Kamala. And Biden was clear from the beginning. His VP would be a “woman of color.” Call Gillibrand what you will, you can never call her a woman of color! Not only was she not asked, she was never on the consideration list! Edited to say the whole D field stepped down for Biden at the SAME TIME, even though by that point BERNIE SANDERS was in the lead to win the nomination. But as things go with the DNC, a Sanders led ticket was something they could NEVER allow. Gillibrand’s campaign was a spectacular failure, and fizzled out for sheer lack of interest on the part of democrat primary voters. This made it easy for her to withdrawal. What’s more her fundraising efforts amounted to a PITTANCE. No one wanted to see ole Kiersten get a step up from where she remains to this day. And by 2028 she will be FORGOTTEN.
Imagine a group of male senators complaining about women senators for 10 minutes, their “estrogen,” and saying the best way to get things done is to have men solve it. This was so odd.
Your misogynistic views and lies have been noted (re "biggest anti-gun hypocrite"...having once worked for Senator Feinstein, I can tell you she's NOT anti gun...just pro responsible gun ownership, which includes people realizing they need no assault weapons as they are more dangerous to owners than victims)
She's a CCW permit holder>>> For someone who holds others in contempt about uneducated statements, you sure could benefit from a look in the mirror. She hasn't had a CCW in YEARS. By the way, I voted for Emken>>> I don't give a shit. Has NOTHING to do with this discussion. Anyways, I'm out. Got better things to do with my time than debate an arrogant child.
Not every woman is the same, you know that? It seems that you might have had a bad experience with women well just remember this; not every person man or woman is the same.
@@wkim22 That's not what I heard....and what does it matter how much native you are? I'm 1/8 Sioux but you'd never know looking at me, doesn't mean it's not a part of my ancestry.
@@robbiewalters4055 well, being a "PRETENDIndian" like Elizabeth Warren is almost a good politics so she could say to voters that she's an oppressed woman victim of color. More like a FRAUD crook. I'm glad she got exposed.
